Spinner
About this creation

This is my version of the ever-popular Syd Mead designed futuristic aerodyne that is the Spinner, from the sci-fi classic Blade Runner. I wanted to make it as accurate as possible while deviating from the palette of elements I'm comfortable building with; therefore, the forward wheel housing is built with TECHNIC figure helmets, and the back contains four working, blinking, official LEGO lights!

See a short video slideshow with music by Vangelis from the Blade Runner soundtrack below!

Awesome - very unique build. You need to take some photos in bad light to get the gritty feel of the movie.

I really like the clever and integrated parts usage, it makes this unique and fun to look at. It's also a slick model of a Spinner, so good job!

Excellent use of uncommonly used parts. Best spinner I've seen, and great minifigures to go with it.

I must say--WOW! The Spinner is cool enough, but your characters, especially the andys (er, sorry, Replicants--"andys" is from the book), are some of the best I've ever seen. Roy is great, Zhora too, and Pris? Oh man, I am LOVING your Pris! Good work, good work!

This is my favorite sci-fi vehicle of all time. You have built the best version of it yet. The blue color scheme is perfect. You got all of the major details spot-on. Your minifig gang is genius. The female with the white sleeves is one of the best bad-girl figures period. Regards, Eric.

It has an awesome fast, sleek, look to it, and the front wheels were ingenious. Where is that owl (on one of the minifig's hands) from?
