My 3rd Lamborghini, and possibly my favorite. Bertone sure got it right with this one.
About this creation
After starting a long list of projects and individually putting them off as I got bored, I finally got around to finishing most of them. So if anyone actually keeps up with these "mini-journals" I post on occasion, heres what you can look forward to me posting soon: Nissan 300ZX Custom, Offroad Power Lego set Mods(maybe, idk if it desrves it's own page), and sometime in the future...my jacked up Lego Volkswagen set! I figured since I loved the Lego Set Beetle, AND the Extreme Offroader 2, only good thing could happen if I combined them...I have never been so right. But enough pointless rambling! You came to see a Countach, and gosh-durn it you're gonna see one!
The low down wedge front
with pop-up headlamps.
The side, not my favorite part of the car, but at least it gave a good picture.
The beetle-wing doors
The back, which IS my favorite of the car
The hood. Can you say "Worst engine access ever."?
A V-12, of course
The interior, if I had more white pieces, I think I'd use white interiors more often...kind of adds a spacecrafty-ish feel.
The dashboard, with a whole mess a details
Some Random Shots to show off the car and cover up gaps in my horrid photography skills.
Thanks for looking!
On a completely unrelated note, is it pronounced Gallardo with an 'L' or Giyardo with the double Spanish ll being a pronouced like a 'Y'? I recently heard it pronounced the second way on Battle of the Supercars and was just wondering...
That's definitely one of the best Countachs here on MOCpages. Great shaping and great details. The opening headlights are my favourite detail. I can't believe that until now I hadn't written a comment on this one :-))
This is an amazing entry, just like the real thing! Your score...-Build quality-25/25--Usage of parts-23/25--Features-25/25--Overall build-24/25--Total-97/100-Thats superb score, youve got a great chance in this contest! Good luck with the other judges!

One of the most accurate 1:17 scale lamborghini countach i have seen. A difficult model to get the proportions correct. Fantastic job!
OH, by the way: the "ll" in Gallardo is pronounced like "y" or also "ly" like in the word "million" (but with the "l" just slightly heard). Here you'll find a video with Valentino Balboni talking about the Gallardo, the Miura and the Countach...well, HE should know, right?! -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC0j17r2VPU
These are the best fitting wheelarches for a Countach ever... The idea alone deserves a 5/5. But with the rest of the car in mind I'll give you 5x100000 /5. Best Countach ever I guess! Keep it up, Jens
Nice countach! I was planning to make one aswell. Anyways very nice! Finally I see someone not making a murcielago or a gallardo, but a classsic Lambo. Great job! I used to call Gallardo with a L, but I found out that you call it with a Y.
Very nice Countach, probably my favorite Lambo ever, even since childhood. I must say this model is spot one, and I'm happy too se you even replicated the fenders on it along with the flip ups, very nice model.
