About this creation
It is with great curiosity that we look back upon the time before us, to unlock their mysteries and in that the future...

Builder's notes

Well, I really liked this build, although I couldn't really think of a story for it. It was originally going to be some sort of titan of stone, but when I but the orange tridax pod in the place of it's head...it just seemed to fit. Also, I thought of the name as it appeared that with one eye in the place of it's head, this MOC seemed curious, as are historians I guess.

Comments are welcome!I'm curious as to what you have to say...:)

Quoting Scott Aldridge Awesome, I don't know if it was intentional but I love how you made it look similar to the gukko birds of Mata Nui, and the use of the Irnakk spine is great! As is the use of the Kanohi Ignika, perhaps that is how it rises up from it's ashes when it dies? :P
I forgot to mention it reminded me of a PIMPED jaller and gukko....

Cool and erie... I don't agree with Fassio, I think the ball head makes this one interesting.

Very nice, I can just see it walking through an old abandoned library, searching for history books, adding to its knowledge, content just to learn, for its entire life... What a nerd!

Nice. It would have been wonderful without that ballhead, with that eye on its chest and all :)

Quoting Gringat the Repugnant An amazing build. I can imagine this thing in an ancient arcane library immersing itself in runes and sigils... Slightly Nadrojian in concept perhaps :) I normally know my pieces really well - but what part have you used for The Historian's stomach? Never seen it before.
I think you are refering to the little wolf head, I got it in one of those viking sets a while back. :)

AWESOME build man! I love the legs/feet technique and the hands, and the orange pod head fits nicely! It looks solid and secure and stuff. My only suggestion is a little tiny bit of orange in the arms/hands would have drawn it together more, since the eye is being attracted to the head and upper torso. Epicness! 5/5
