"Autobots, transform and roll out!"
So yeah, that's my first creation I'll show on MOCpages... Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots!
About this creation
Optimus is my first Robot MOC which used normal Lego bricks, usually I build my MOCs out of parts from Technic, the Slizers, Bionicle and HeroFactory. Thanks to the joint elements I've taken from a EXO Force set, he's fairly poseable and he can also transform.
I used the japanese G1 Convoy toy from the Robot Masters Line as a reference.
While I'm fine with the result, I'm also aware of a few flaws in his design. His proportions seem a bit off (most obvious, his head is too large), some of his parts look awkward when he's transformed and he still lacks his weapon.
Building him was sometimes really challenging (especially his head and his waist), but in the end, I'm really happy with the final result and it was a lot of fun. So probably I'll build more robots with regular Lego bricks in the future.

(I was running out of blue plates, so I had to use black plates on his legs)

Detail of the head. Originally I tried to use a Toa Mata head, but it didn't work, so I took a Glatorian head. Still not perfect, but so far I'm okay with that (mostly because I insisted on giving him blue eyes, and I don't have blue eyes for a Toa Metru head)
Size comparison to a Mini fig (a clone trooper from the Clone Wars line, to be precise)
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, little man."
"Well, that one is a bit too small for me..."
Maybe I'll build his rifle for him, too.

Quoting Artemiy Karpinsky
Nice action figure! However, he needs a bit smaller face plate. >w<
Actually I'm planning to redo his entire head (alongside with his crotch and his feet). |
