Red R.O.D. Bionicle motorcycle that has a secret secondary function.
About this creation
Just an experiment I was playing around with about a month ago, making a motorcycle out of Bionicle parts. Turned out alright.
Front view, looks ok
Back view, so so.
But wait, there's more!
Transform!
Yep, also incorporated a transforming function into it. Not a great looking robot though. Bug ugly in fact :P
Transform Fail!
Well, there goes my Red Ring of Death... Ow my segmented spinal mechanisms...
This will be my first moc to be placed in my newly created folder "Foundry of Failed Creations." Their design may be improved upon at some later stage, but anything in that folder is just not what I personally considered to be completed or to my expectations.
Why post this if i don't like it you ask?
Posterity. Record keeping. Something like that. They're not all complete failures mind you. Their potential for success just hasn't been realised yet.
This should be fun! ^_^

And here comes a group made for people lagging behind there expectations. This is a really nice MoC, especially when you consider how much thought went in it for just some experiment. The transforming ability is great, though that thing is quite ugly indeed. ;) |

Dont say "Red Ring of Death"... it brings back too many sad memories... most prominently the one of me saving up another 300 bucks to get a new X-Box... Sad, dark days...
Haha, finally someone realised what I was meaning in the title! You get a hat. And I won't tell anyone about the previous post's timestamp :P |

I love the bike, and it's pretty cool in robot form too in my opinion. The legs look like they are going to give way, but for creating such a great transformer from bionicle pieces there has to be some problems. :D
The legs are fairly frail, though it can stand up unaided if you position the feet right. But yeah, back to the drawing board I go lol. |
