fantastic work! an excellent and incredibly-detailed rendition of perhaps the most famous battle of WWII. and, while I haven't been around MOCpages all that long so this might not count for much, this is definitely the best D-Day dio I've seen. I especially like the Higgins boat. the detailing is almost perfect. the minifigs don't look terribly like the real thing, but considering LEGO's lack of many WWII-like 'figs, that's pretty understandable. I still wish they'd make WWII sets...

I don't use BA- at all- i don't think weapons are such important- humans are legofigs anyway- so makes no sense to me that inaccurate people use overaccurate weapons... sorry- if you like BA it's ok- but i don't- very rarely i have seen ba stuff used in good moc- usually they are in not-so-good ones- they would be nice but i would like to see TLG making more weapons... thompson with drum is accurate version of navythompson- i know that infantry used that very rarely- but at least british did- i've seen a photo.... allied uniforms in d-day were something between olive and tan and i think tan is closer- germans wore grey (like many of my decal germans do as well) I added green camo guys that are pretty accurate Fallschrimjäger infantry- i think that puristmade nazis look better than decals or paint...

Nice work Swash! but you're still missing the Brickarms, preferably the M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, M1911 aka Colt 45, Thompson ( Don't use LEGO's it's not the WW2 issue) and BAR ( Browning Automatic Rifle) for the Germans, you'll need the MG-42, MP-40 sadly BA does not have the Kar-98K and last the famous Luger P.08. The US wore olive green uniforms and the Germans wore a gray uniform. The Soldiers with those caps remind me of Pvt. Huxley from COD3!it's still a good MOC, there's some parts for improvement but the overall detail is great! the greebles are great! the water effects are great!. I suggest that you try making an MOC on the Falaise Gap or Hill 262?. overall is 4/5

i know and i built underground sctions for bunkers- but many sources show pillboxes above Omaha beach that are like towers above the beach- i am not sure how realistic they are but according to real photos i think they are quite accurate

Hey Swash. I got news that the new MOH game for the PS3, also incudes Frontline. But it's been re-made into PS3 grafics! Rough Landing, Arnhem Knights, Opertaion Repunzel, Golden Lion, Derailed, On Track, Stealing the Show, Enemy Mine..... all in PS3 grafics! It comes out this October, I would recommend to get it just to relive Frontline.

Very nice, I think the bunkers are a bit too high or too exposed, most bunkers are low and wide or atleast partially (a large part) underground. Overall I'dd say this is a sweet diorama :P great details, keep it up

I'm not going to say it's the best, cause it's not (no offense), but this certainly has the most innovative design out of all of them. The trenches are very well put together in SNOT-something I've never seen before. The Higgins is also pretty well built. I suddenly have a desire to build a D-Day MOC. :P 5/5

Wow....the detail in this is incredible....the rockface in-between the pillboxes is amazing....you've displayed it perfectly. I love the trenches up the back and the landing craft is very accurate. There is one D-Day dio I can think of that's bigger, but it certainly isn't as detailed. I'll let ya know if I can find it again. This is really awesome! I really like how you built beyond the beach, it really adds to the feel of a large MOC and shows that the Allies can move forward in their invasion.
