My hardsuit, totally redone, with meaner everything. Also known as the last time I use overhead lighting for photography.
About this creation
Well, in case you couldn't guess, the Mk1 designation of my first hardsuit meant there would be more. This one was designed specifically to be armed, unlike my first one, and that resulted in the cool black and silver color scheme and the more posable arms and legs.

Some of you like backstories and specs with your various armed machines. All I can give you is this quote from Alex Fojtik: "Backstory? That minigun is all the backstory you need."
I must admit the technique for the ammo chain is not original, but was stol... borrowed from 000 000.

I designed this mech to look cool with long-barreled weapons, and oh boy does it show. After seeing Yuri Fassio's Old School, I knew I had to do something like this. His mech looks seriously awesome with that shotgun.

Here it is, the best picture of it yet. This is the exact pose this hardsuit was designed for, and it worked perfectly. Don't mess with this guy.

Yes, that's the M-4 first shown off in my secret bunker. Sorry, but Brickarms is just a substitute for creativity. That's a purist gun.

While I was sorting through my collection looking for good weapons for this thing to hold, I came across this sword and thought "why not? Everything looks better with a sword." It's true.

This was just in case you needed further proof.

Interstingly, the hardsuit doesn't look so cool with sidearms and close-combat weapons unless you return the arms to the same configuration as the Mk 1. Fortunately, doing so takes less than 30 seconds.
Alright, calling all copycats. If you want a hardsuit of your own, study the following pictures, get eyestrain, and build one. Remember to credit me if you post it in anything.

OK, that's all for now. I'll add some more light-hearted, humourous poses later. I'm thinking a few law enforcement applications would be cool, although I shudder at the thought of Phipson getting his hands on one. What if I'm next after Yuri?

I wish I could offer advice on how to improve this, but all I can do is sit here and wish I had built it in the first place... |

I really like that picture below the main, nothing beats an enormous Gatling gun! This looks extremely posable for such a small hardsuit, very nice. |

Awesome hardsuit and I still use overhead lighting that must make me primitive O_O !
Not really... but I recommend indirect sunlight instead. I use it when I can get it, and it makes for better photos.

Well done. This is a great little hard-suit, and I love the pose ability.
Thanks! |

Action shots are great but they only hide what bothers me here: the legs. Too big. Wide.
Yup. They were the most stressful part of the build, and the first on the list of upgrades if I make a Mk 3. |

I don't know how this only has a few comments, this is awesome! Seriously, great MOC and really good picture. I think the lighting is fine, quite honestly. Not only is it a cool build but there is humor in it too with all those different poses and weapons. Great job!
Thanks. The lighting is fine because I adjusted the pictures since Firas's comment. Thanks for commenting. |

Wow! This is very creative little MOC! But you need more light in your images, well done.
I see that now... I uploaded these at night, and they looked brighter then. Now they've been fixed. Thanks for commenting. |

Not bad for an hardsuit. That's not a mecha for me..
Thanks for commenting, maybe sometime in the future I'll make a full-sized mech.

very not bad :). look mine ;)
Thanks for commenting, but please don't promote your own stuff in comments on other people's creations. It's considered impolite, and most people will check out the creations of people who comment on their stuff anyway. |
