About this creation
Yup. That's it. I know. Pathetic, isn't it? I may as well write my losing rant now, since the only chance I have is if Heath hated the category more than myself and doesn't post. I give you my as-good-as-forfeit entry for
Still Life Mosaic:
Sugar O's! A part of this balanced breakfast.

Charming! I like the design on the book, the one thing I would suggest, is as you made the book 3-d, I would make the toast a little more 3-d as well. But I like it! |

Tough category, but you still managed to build something to be proud of. Mosiacs would be the end of me as well. |

What do you think, that we would choose the best builder without testing contestants in all kinds of styles and themes? This was actually a good minimalist approach. Far better than I can do, anyway. |

Perhaps when my bricklink order comes in I can show you AFOLs what Ian and I are really capable of.

A most excellent build despite hating the category. I tip my hat on this one. You really did a bang up job! In the end though, my vote went with Heath. Something about that wine glass just really did it for me. Good luck with the other judges! ~ Chris. |

Aye Mr. Moffatt, this was indeed a dull category best to be had by bilge rats. 'Twas an honor sir. I be glad we didn't get a mech category for yee to really make me walk the plank!! Avast though matey, the judges have yet to speak, and you may best me yet!
In some ways it would be a relief to visit the Locker. Ian and I have a floating rock to build anyway

I had the idea of writing a rant as well, but that would be bad for scores. You still did a pretty nice job on this - much better than what I could do. Good luck!

This actually turned out pretty cool! I like the box design and how you did the "shine" on the apple. Unfortunately, part of the "spirit" of the game is to build outside your comfort zone. I know I have so far.
I know the comfort zone bit, and I respect that, but this is so.... so.... Normal. I just wish I could have made something really impressive, or wacky. This is all I could come up with =P |
