Hey, If I couldn't score any series 2 figs, this should make up for it. Anyhoo, best of luck to my opponent, Moodswim, who besides having a screen-name that takes a short while to type-has some rather sweet stuff. Now without further ado, I present to you... 'Minifig Collection X'. (Cue dramatic music)
About this creation
Group shot! All sixteen of them; a rather difficult task to accomplish I must say.
Prison convict! What he's in the grey-bar hotel for, I don't know. Remember future inmates, Don't drop the soap...
Pirate! Whether it's treasure or women, he's just lookin' for the booty. Get it? Booty? Yeah... That was pretty lame...
Sky diving instructor! Prep your chute, and get ready to jump!
Alien soldier! Armed with a ray gun (aren't they all?) set to maximum fry, you best be not messing with him!
Hoodlum! representin' da hood with a pistol for drive-by's and a syringe for drug deals...
Close your blinds fellows, because you never know if there's a STALKER following, watching, and taking pictures of you!
Wanna know your future? Just ask madame Reepoff! For $20.00, she'll tell you exactly what you wanna hear with her magic 8-ball!
Conquer your enemies with the fearsome Attilla the Hun!
Hey, if my opponent gets to have Phuture Phippy , I think I'm entitled to make
Ye-Ole-Yuri. It's only fair.
Nerd fig! Equipped with a laptop pre-loaded with Dungeons and dragons, and weilding a sword for when the weekly 'knights and mages' club meets. A life? Who needs one!?
Stomp, stomp. Bang. Bang. Romp around in your hardsuit and blast anything that breathes!
Slinky McSnake; resident p0rn star! Must I explain what the items in his hands are for?
Nun nun nun nun nun! Practice the scriptures with your book, and slap the hands of little rapscallions with your yardstick!
Pissed off flight attendant! Curse out the passengers, grab your two beers, slide down the emergency chute, and run off!
Halo kiddie! dressed as an awesim M4stir Cheef with a different colored sleeve to emphasize his awesim mastr cheef-i-ness. Comes with a sharpie for any super coolio kustimizashens, and a megaphone blaster because of a lack of creativity.
Homicidal maniac! This one goes out to all of us who are stuck in places full of idiots; be it the office or the classroom, we all have a point in which we wanna go off.
With the figures made, I just had to make a case to house them in.
Here's the case with all the figs hanging on a wall in my room.
Oh, and to those of you who were wondering what all those yellow studs were in the first picture, The studs are supposed to read 'Minifigs'
Somers' scribbles:
So there you have it. My collection of 16 random minifigs. If anyone is offended by something here, I apologize-ish. Again, best of luck to the both of us-round 4 up ahead!

It's going pretty good. I have been sooo busy with schoolwork though, so i haven't had a chance to actually make any MOCS or comment on them much.
I'm actually juggling moccing and schoolwork. I'm competing in the MocOlympics, as well as working on school work... It's actually a rather difficult process. |

A quick question: where did you find the thuggish heads you used for the Convict and the Hoodlum? They're hilarious! Thanks! I got the convict's head from the new World Racers Sets, And I believe the Hoodlum's head is from some basketball set: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb112

This is a very cool series! I love to get my hands on some of them if they were an official set. I also think that the clone kiddie's megaphone is very aptly chosen here. To me, it stands for 'WOW THIS IS SOO KEWL HEY COULD U LOOK AT SUM OF MI MOCZ PLZ' ;) |

Haha, madame "Reepoff". Everything was well thought up, even the stalker guy, even though I don't go around looking like that. Does this description fit your bill instead, Mr. Somers? Oh and "Slinky" was uhh, how do I say this, "an interesting addition." I'll bet there was a young yfol reading this and asked his mommy what "Slinky" was, and I think you ruined his MOCpages career. Anyways, good luck in the MOColympics! ~Waff |

The Hoodlum, the Fortune-Teller, and the Flight Attendant were my favorites, but almost all of these look like figs that would appear in a Minifig series (except that Lego would NEVER make them). |

Wow, you both posted some seriously funny figs. Excellent work on these both of you and I loved your case. However, as Yuri said, we are judging on the figs, and……you win. Welcome to the Sweet 16! (This was a very close vote for me, it was really 50.5% for you and 49.5% for Moody.) |

Let me first say thet the cool stand and the display were not required and as such they weren't considered in my judging. I think Mood had some of the best figs, but you posted the best overall collection. Plus the fact that your figs would indeed make it inside a fig collection package, and most of them really look like they were an official product, and you get my vote. But it was quite close. |

I have that exact piece and have it on a camera as well(great minds?), also having no idea what set it could have come in and having never seen one before. I know it was in the tub bought, which included Exo-Force stuff, and the plastic quality had me convinced it was LEGO, so I'll go with that. It's a pretty neat part, I'll give it that. One that I wouldn't mind having more of! |

Your carrying case and presentation may be the extra you needed to top Moody's entry, as you both showed such range and creativity. I have that exact piece and have it on a camera as well(great minds?), also having no idea what set it could have come in and having never seen one before. I know it was in the tub bought, which included Exo-Force stuff, and the plastic quality had me convinced it was LEGO, so I'll go with that. Best of luck with the judges, you both really stepped up in a very difficult category.~H |
