About this creation

This took longer than my average build, I guess this gundam was more off and on than the others. As usual every joint functions, and the cockpit seats an average minifig. The head turned out quite well I think, at least better than the others. I think the navy blue was a good substitute for the more purplish blue in the picture.

Quoting Kidgunsmoke . I have to say that you are improving. I like the head it came out very well. This is just somthing you have to see http://www.flickr.com/photos/29882140@N03/5011373514/in/faves-45023551@N06/ I say it is the best mini scale gundam i'v seen, im thinking of useing pete's frame to make a small gundam my self.
coooool, I'd really like to see your attempt. Do you do any ldd? I don't really, seeing as how I prefer material bricks, but it can be a fun way to learnn techniques and such.

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix The Dendrobium Stamen (and the orchis) is possible to build, even at the minifig scale, but there is one part of the gundam which is near impossible to make at the scale at which you and I build, which is the forearms: they have this fold-away grapple claw mechanism that is really compact and is not really possible with lego at that scale. If you think you can do it though, more power to you!
Hmm point taken, but I am looking for a challenge...

Quoting Mithryl Dlarix I think this must be the first of these that anyone has attempted. Great work on it! Did you see this? It was just posted this weekend too. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=445751 People must be into the Nu Gundam lately. Sandrock next, huh? I'm working on an LDD version of the Gundam Heavyarms Custom Right now.
cool, I look forward to heavyarms. But the sandrock won't be out til I get some more pieces, so I might have another one in there while I wait, what do you think about the dendrobium stamen from 0083? Oh and no I hadn't seen that bust of it, wish I had used some reference from that.
