Trampler Mech at large
using its feet as main weapon for destruction... Just what have you been smoking?
About this creation
---------------------------------------------------
My entry for round three in the 2010 MocOlympics
Category : Trampler Mech
and my more than worthy opponent Dan Church (and his entry)
possibly the only church I have sympathy for
---------------------------------------------------

Let me introduce you to my newest 5-wide car, a brag type car.

Sport wheels, a lowered base, a smooth roof and air intake vents.

Yep, I had this fine station car for a good 5 minutes...

Someone, or better yet, something decided to plant its huge metal foot on top of it

Its other foot (it has two feet though my original idea was to make a turtle-like mech with 4 legs until I found out I didn't have enough parts to realize that) landed on the street but caused great destruction as well, let's follow that crack for a moment...

A shop named "Crack" I wonder what they were selling there

Now what could have caused this kind of destruction ?

Of course, it's a trampler mech ! (pfff, lame, ofcourse it's a trampler mech, what else ? a fart ?)

following are some pictures of the mech and different poses :p

"yeah, call me Mr Ostrich"

ready to drop some eggs (or some other waste, you name it)

doubting, doubting...

Hopla (those bionicla parts are great, they offer great flexibility on a steady base)

I used sigfigs in the crowd, from left to right we have Mark Kelso (unfortunatly under a police car), Chris Phipson (jumping ouside the same police car, makes me wonder if this situation was actually caused by the mech), Crimso Giger, Master Shifu, Hans Dendauw and a poor lad stuck in the fence (I think that has something to do with a missunderstanding about a “1” and an “I”) ...hmmm, where's Mister Bones ?

Ah, there he is ... hmmm, looks like my robot disturbed him while...whatever he was doing with that lucky fang of his...
I was going to say "next time go deeper" but most of you would fail to understand that I actually mean to go deeper underground to avoid trampler mechs and such :p
I also was going to say to insert something here but I don’t thing it’s a good idea to use the words “insert” and “Bones’ lucky fang” in the same paragraph.

and there's Giovanny Seyneave, appearently not part of the crowd, I guess he runs in a more organized and thought-over way,
the Belgian way, geen paniek, alles op't gemakske :P

So, what do you think of these filter-exhaust-things ? They're actually skate helmets, I was planning to use this technique in some military battle machine. I'll devellop a new building idea/technique for every Mocolympics entry I make xD

The crack in the house was easier than it looks, each side of the building is connected with a technic pin so it fell down at an angle, for the rest it are just some well-placed slope bricks.
I wanted to use my net technique here but I got ill, I'm too tired to do anything right now. Anyway, my idea was to make a realistic looking collapsed roof.

My sigfig fits in the mech :) not so easy due the pauldron and I had to point my dragon wings forward, consider that as my angry pose.

there's a wreckage of a dark green car on the scene, it never was a complete car unfortunatly, I think it's a shame lego® never sold any dark blue or dark green regular cars, those are very common colors for cars in real life.

My mech has a minigun on its nose, rules said the mech doesn't wastes bullets but that doesn't mean it doesn't have bullets, besides, what to do with those squirming hostiles avoiding the feet everytime ?

I will post some more pictures of my new 5-wide cars later.
I wanted to add this creation to my "Tracked demolishing, flying destruction and ravaging torpe-doing" folder but a trampler mech does not meet with any of the terms, any suggestions for a fourth term that would make the folder include this kind of battlemachines ?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, wish me luck (and recovery :P)

Quoting Bob The Jedi Good job on the cracking effect. How did you do it?
by making two sides of a building instead of one building, the crack is formed by placing the two sides near each other, not by splitting one building (and add some slopebricks to make the crack look better)
