The Gimp. Definitely not the prettiest vehicle out there, but it gets the job done.
this is a Mandatory Arbitration Moc.
About this creation
main pic, no title. the Gimp was once referred to as "the ugliest vehicle that can carry cargo and still kick your butt."
The gimp comes equipped with working suspension and steering. but not armor for either.
a nickname given to the gimp was "deathbox" it is unclear who coined the term, or why, as the only part of a gimp to have ever failed was its undercarrige.
door down... or is it a staircase?
the gimps ugliness is made up for by troop capacity. A Gimp-T (t for troop)can hold approximately 15-20 troops, plus light weaponry for all.
cargo bay, this is not a Gimp-T, this is the base model. this pic is also doubling as the "back shot."
main cabin. it is completely separated from the cargo bay, but on a Gimp-T there is only a halfway partition between them. that is the gunner on the right and the driver on the left.
anti-air and anti ground MGs do a sufficient job. the Gimp can also be outfitted with a light cannon.
you can also see in the above pictures that the Mandatory yellow stripe is a little "bent" i think it adds a more beat up look.
Fun fact: the Gimp-C employs a trap for clones (that cargo bay makes an excellent solid fuel storage) using the one thing they cannot resist: new sharpies.
The Gimp-C also has a thicker wall to keep the "check out mi mocs" out of the main cabin.
it doesnt help....
bonus pic: "hey frank, i think your helmet might be a little outdated."
This "frank person" doesnt even know how he got here. the last thing he remembers is seeing a light at the annual "revolutionary war" convention.....
