the bionicle that sparked my interest in the franchise...
About this creation
My history with Bionicle and MOCing all started with this Toa of Water. Back when I was 8 on December 18, my birthday, my mom took me to a Toysrus store. I was so into Lego back then so i ran straight to the lego section, but something caught my eye. A shelf full of bionic beings of 6 different colors was displayed next to the Legos. I thought "WOW THEY LOOK SO COOL!" I told my mom that this was what I want. She asked me which color would you like. It was such a hard decision for me because they all looked so awesome, but I chose blue because that was my favorite color. I brought the canister back home and opened the top. I poured all the pieces out on the floor and began constructing the model.
As soon as I was finished, I began to feel a sense of pride having built my first Bionicle. I was so used to making things from Lego bricks and this finished Bionicle was like my masterpiece. I played with it like crazy. This is why I decided to revamp Gali. She was my first ever Bionicle. I was into Bionicle thanks to Gali. She was what started my interest in Bionicle. I will never forget the day I built her.
I was trying to make her as posable as I could because she was the climber. I didn't want to give her a custom look because I wanted to keep as much of her original design as possible. I also added a gear on her back(see previous picture) as a homage to the original.

Gali was my first bionicle too. But my favorite toa mata was Kopaka. Great job, this brings back memories of year 5 of Owen. |

sure go ahead u can make a gali revamp if ur gonna use some of my techniques just give me credit. i would love to see how other people revamp old bionicle sets |

im not going to rate it since i am the judge of the contest, but great job:) i like that you kept it basic and still a bit custom. the only thing i'd say is the legs should either be custom and a little more bulky. you can keep it, but you are also allowed (if you want) to edit the moc and reenter it. if you want more info ill be glad to reply. So far its the first moc in the contest so i cant say if ur gonna win (lol :P) but i like it!

I did want to give her a simple look because it was her first form and I thought I should keep the design simple just like her Mata form |
