This is made from mostly old pieces, most notably the Caribbean Clipper. I like to think this ship is a little grander in scale than her predecessor. She's a variation of the standard brig design with seven guns, including a rotating cannon on the forecastle, six sails, and featuring a white eagle figurehead. Her name comes from the halberd fastened to the bowsprit. Note: I've updated it a year later with some minor aesthetic changes and put a crew of classic minifigures on it.

Wicked! Great name, too. I like what's going on around the bow, never seen that before. Well done!

Quoting Admiral Hutton Are you going to make anymore ships like this?
Not for at least a year. My Lego collection is on the other side of the world and I probably won't see it again until next summer at the earliest.

Quoting Sebeus I Very nice, I first though the idol represented a seagull, which would have been nice too but for a battle ship a more though bird will do :p, I like the caribbean clipper references, great job
Thank you. I always thought the Caribbean Clipper lacked something that all the pirate ships had. I hope this vessel stacks up well with those.

Quoting Admiral Hutton Nice work and detail! Those sails look realistic. The stern windows are also good, and the mixture of colours makes the ship look colourful
Thank you, Admiral. I wish I had some more dark red pieces. I just stumbled by accident upon that color combo, and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
