Omicron-Class Assault Suit Mk.V
As close to an Anniversary MOC as you'll get.
About this creation
Having recently fallen into a slump (in LEGO, not real life, mind you) I decided to expand my comfort zone building something not even I'd expect myself to build. This was influenced by plenty of other suits on Flickr (primarily from Milo Z.), I decided to add as much funcionality into this one as I could, it's pretty posable if a bit unstable.

Bad view of the front.

Side view, the arms look a bit awkward from this angle...

My favorite part by far, the torso.

It can open up to reveal the pilot, the decal is made by Roaglaan.

Size comparison with a fig, it's pretty compact, and it folds out quite nicely.

For any of your desktop needs.

Did you know that...
...my black backdrop is torn, but I'll try replacing it with a proper background as soon as possible?
...this is the last thing I expected myself to build?
...mechs are fun to build?
...although this is outside of my comfort zone I'm not sure what is my comfort zone?
...I will have plagued MOCpages with my pressence for a year on the 20th?
...this was my first MOC posted here?

Sweet suit. I myself have built a suit, but have yet to post it. Shtoopeed real life... The greebling here is quite awesome, and so is the way you fit the guy in there. Oh, and apparently I joined the pages 9 days after you.

Quoting M<0><0>DSWIM ! Awesome build, man! Although this is outside your comfort zone, you should build more often outside your comfort zone! My only suggestion would be to make a trans-piece/window part for the pilot to see where he's going.
Coming from you that means a lot! I decided to use a sort of cameraesque system for view, in the picture where the suit is folded out you can see a trans stud meant to represent a screen, though a trans red or trans yellow stud on that clip could work. Thanks for the comment!
