My entry for Round 2 of the Brick Bonanza contest.
About this creation

UPDATE:
I decided to add a bit of functionality to the camera. I made a hinging side which reveals the battery and SD card slots.

My opponent's entry
Brick Bonanza

Thanks for looking! I've been wanting to build a camera out of Lego for a while now, and this category gave me the perfect opportunity. Everything is Lego except for the string. Hope you enjoy, and good luck to Nathan Davis!

Nicely done. The accuracy is fantasticly executed. And the best section for me is the use of the AT-AT/AT-TE pieces to make the chrome area around the lense. Great job.

Quoting El Barto ! Very accurate! Why the little grill for the flash and not trans clear smoothies? Nice work, Dude!
Thanks! And I didn't have a clear 2 stud tile. And since the contest ended today, I couldn't Bricklink one either. So I used the chrome grill instead.

I love the use of the AT-AT hinges for the zoom. The only constructive criticism I can think of is adding that horizontal silver ridge by the ledge and possibly adding decals to make the fujifilm logo and the units/words on the buttons. Great work!

I saw your request for constructive criticism and came over here... there's almost none I have to offer. The only advice I can give is to ditch the non-LEGO handstrap and replace it with something made of LEGO strings. Other than that, it's just about perfect.
