Hogsmeade Station, or Hogwarts Station, is where the Hogwarts Express ends it journey on the 1st of September.
About this creation
A tiny, dark platform where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters. The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle. The station is actually quite a distance from the town itself, being on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds. People are waiting for the train to arrive. Some of them have been to Hogsmeade for business, others for shopping. Hagrid is waiting to welcome to first years and then go with them to the Hogwarts Castle with the boats.
As you can see, this is not the tiny and dark platform. Let's say, after the defeat of the Dark Lord the Ministry of Magic invested in a new Hogsmeade Station. They upgraded the whole building and it now not only serves as a railway station, but also as a restaurant and hotel.
I hope you like it! I've started building this in August 2009, the roof was then ready. In February it was almost ready, but then I lost interest in it. In the summer holiday I placed some orders and I finally finished it last Sunday. A lot has changed in a year, I kept adjusting it until I was satisfied (unfortunately I've deleted WIP photos and I can't find my first sketches). It's my biggest (and most expensive) project ever and I'm happy with the result. It's going to be a part of my Hogsmeade layout.
The custom decals are made by myself and I was inspired by bricktrix for the footbridge.

There are some fantastic details here. The interiors are great, though I may suggest tiling the floors. The traintracks are lovely, and the exterior of the building is perfect. All in all thiis MOC is outstanding. |

Where DID you get that dog (that's supposed to probably be Fang)? |

All I can say is wow! You really captured the look of the Hogsmeade Station in this MOC. I love the little details like the railings and the stone-work. Excellent scale as well to go with a 6-wide Hogwarts Express. Just simply brilliant! |

I just had a great idea! When you're finished and when Allan Hall is finished, you two should combine your Hogmeade and Hogwarts, who agrees? Great Work by the way! -Lewis |

Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate it!

A wonderful building, but I really don't know why you brought in Harry Potter. It has nothing to do with the station.
Thanks. When I was building this, I also thought of that: it's only Hogsmeade Station in name. Then I thought of building the Goathland station (the one used in the films), but a tudor style building would fit nicer in my Hogsmeade village and I could do whatever I want with my interpretation. The footbridge is based on the Goathland one though. But maybe I'll build a replica of Goathland station, but it's not for the years to come. ;)

A wonderful building, but I really don't know why you brought in Harry Potter. It has nothing to do with the station, unless it's just there to explain the HP minifigs. That said, this is a fantastic build that really stands out for its clean, natural design and clever use of sloped bricks. |

I saw this on EuroBricks earlier today. It is outstanding. I like the backstory of this being a post Voldemort Hogsmeade Station too. It has so many beautiful details both inside and outside. Regards, Eric. |
