1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta
Hey everybody this is my first MOC and I hope you guys enjoy it. It is a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta.
About this creation
Hey everybody. I am here to present my first MOC ever. It is a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta. SWB stands for short wheel base. It took me at least a week to build. The way I built this was literally looking at some pictures of the real car on google and just put the pieces where they fit into place. I actually used pieces from the Ferrari F430 set and some other random pieces to build this. For example the chassis is the exact one from the F430 set. On to the car. you can see that the car has a full tan interior with gauges and leather seats. The hood opens to reveal the 2.9 liter 240 hp engine. The trunk opens to reveal, of course, a small Ferrari trunk. Both doors open to reveal the interior, but if you can't see it well the top will come off so you could see a lot more detail. Hope you enjoyed it.

Wow... This is the second great first MOC I've seen today. We'd better watch out for these rookies... they could be dangerous. It's a great car, right up there next to the MOCs of Firas A J and Patrick L. I think the transition from the roof to the rear windscreen could be a little more round and smooth, though. Still, 5/5.

One of the best Ferrari's ever, and you made a very good model of it, pretty sleek!

Wow, you really nailed this. I don't even have to google it to see if it looks right. Why don't you check out the Chevy Silverado right here, it's the same scale: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/129070

Firas already pointed out the pros & cons. Get that rear beam / roof right and it gets even better than a 10/5. Anyway, beautiful transformation of a classic into LEGO-bricks. Love it!

Great build on this classic beauty with all the features and details, welldone on the overall shape, I only would suggest to make the rear windshield more slopy and smooth it with the roof, still an amzing MOC though, keep it up.
