MOC Olympics 2010 Round 2, Group 2B, category "Mix n' Match".
This should really be in the WIP-section because I started something that I could not get my bricks around in this time frame. My apologies to Dan Church and all others for not putting up more of an opposition, still I can't leave with a WO, I'd rather loose the honorable way - total pwnage :)
About this creation
This was supposed to be "Space Fire Fighters vs. the Space Postal Office" or something like that. My three themes are "space", "fire fighters" and "postal service".

Even though this will not help me in any way I'm still posting the two builds that were supposed to be part of the story and a synopsis of the 3 page story:
Ok, so some scientists miscalculated the possibilities of actual fires in the vacuum of space and built fire stations all around the universe. This station gets a emergency call from the Universal Post Shipping Relay Freighter, "Divisible Foot", and they jump in their fire ship only to find that it was a prank call. And then there is an angry retaliation attempt that only results in further mocking of the Space Fire Fighters but it all ends nicely and someone talks about food.
Hopefully I will soon be able to make the missing fire ship and minifig scenes and post it all together like it was supposed to be, I've already spent too much time on this and feel the need to finish it.

The Universal Post Shipping Relay Freighter - "Divisible Foot"
Thank you

What you've got here looks terrific. I'm sorry to see you weren't able to finish. But a serious THANK YOU for sticking with it here, and not bailing on us. Church has my vote as well, but honorably played, Brickjet! |

This would have been cool... Of course I'll vote for your opponent, but I greatly respect your effort. Unlike many others, you chose to stand by your word and post something anyway. |

I can't wait to see the rest of the builds for the story! I look at this as a fantastic screenplay waiting to be produced. The builds you have together currently are extremely attractive! I was pretty pressed for time as well, I think I rebuild that studio at least 3 times. I wish they'd give us another week to build so this would be two full-fledged MOCs facing off! Still, I love that base! |
