One of two female members of the team, Soleku was one of the most powerful. She eventually went on to become a member of The Weave.

Soleku was a singer and musician on the island of Poliaz, working with her best friend Eki. The pair were popular on the island. During this time, Eki was kidnapped by the Black Delta gang. Gratigan managed to save her, and Soleku immediately fell in love with him. Their relationship was strong, and continued when the two became toa.
In personality, Soleku was strong and stubborn, with an extreme love for music. She got into frequent arguments with other matoran, including Gratigan, and was usually slow to forgive.
When the call was put out for matoran to volunteer to become toa, Gratigan was one of the first to sign up, followed swiftly by Soleku - partly because she wanted to stay with Gratigan, but mainly for revenge on Gorast, who had attacked Eki and turned her into a shadow matoran.
She had trained in two-bladed fighting as a matoran. Her stubborn personality meant that she argued frequently with Xalos, their leader. Her powers allowed her to generate electrical sharges, conjure lightning, trigger storms and control other beings' movements to a certain degree.
Gratigan died after being crushed by a Kanohi dragon. This devastated Soleku. After Xalos failed to raise him, Soleku threatened to kill Xalos herself, and then left the group to go solo. The group found her again ten years later, and she rejoined them. Gringat became her best friend at this stage.
Soleku's "death" occured after she went into battle with a makuta single-handedly. She ws in fact rescued before the makuta could finish her off by two other makuta - Balin and Nivorn. They took her to Korrothis and healed her, and she took up the newly created post of Lightning keeper under the Airlord, after Gringat and Xalos disappeared off the map. Lightning beforehand had been only within the Firelord's domain.

Soleku's design is meant to look bulkier than other female MOCs of mine. She isn't little, being one of the strongest in her team. I did cut a corner off the nuva shoulders as well, and regret it. They're now replaced with uncut ones. With her I attempted to make a new female body design. It works, but pales in comparison to the even more recent one I have used for the yet unposted Juine and Jihahli, which avoids using nuva shoulders entirely.
I actually have three silver akaku masks, so I can make her matoran, toa, and Korrothis forms simultaneously.

Also, I changed Soleku's element rather more recently to make her more canon. Rather than sonics, she is a toa of lightning. This allows her to be female, and her colour scheme still fits, although it's highly muted compared to most lightning-characters who are dark blue and pure white. The blue flame pieces on her weapons are now sparks, I suppose.
The Bohrok shields are now non-canon, too. She should really be wearing a Tahnok-Kal one. Sadly, I don't have any so I replaced it with a gravity shield instead, with the explanation that it makes anything in her backpack lighter.
