I was on the bank of a river and about 10 geese came up to me. All they did was stare. Nice build as always |

I loved this ending, very funny, but I wanted...Casablanca.
Yeah, that would have been better... I might still do that yet, just as a side attempt another time. |

Wow, great job leda, Birds of prey are my favorite, and when they take down bigger prey, then that's all the better. Also, those love birds didn't seem very loving. They seemed rather vicious, and just how many lego birds do you have? I thought they only made grey ones. You guys sure put in a lot of time into building stuff like this. Do you mind checking out my latest MOC? At your convenience of course... ~Waff |

Well, your so called opponent showed his true color, the yellow of chicken, you win by default. I loved this ending, very funny, but I wanted...Casablanca. |

It would seem that your competitor decided to call it a day in the face of your obvious brilliance. Too bad - he should have had the berries and stepped into the ring so this worthy moc could have been met in open combat. Lee. |

Finally I can vote here, and take the chance to say how much I was relieved to know the quake didn't claim any lives. I hope things are getting better already. Meanwhile, I think you have R3 to worry about... |

Since your oppenent seems not to have completed his work on time, you get my vote by default. But, that doesn't deminish the quality of this entry a bit. GREAT work, Kat!!! Nice building, with the presentation being the usual feast for the eyes. |

By the way, where did you get that cloudy sky backdrop?
Its just white packing foam propped up against my TV screen on channel blue, with the dio precariously perched on a box in front. |

Thought I'd already written this, but firstly I'm glad you're safe and well after that quake. And living in a B-grade post apoc landscape, well indulge in some Lego looting woman! Seriously, hope normallity returns for you soon - it doesn't seem to have unduly affected your MOCing. I admit I was hoping for a slightly bloodier ending (it's a phase i'm going through - even planning something horror themed for a MOC)but I do love the joyriding birds! Good job. |

Sorry to hear about the earthquake in NZ, glad that it seems most people are okay. And even the irresistible force of nature can't stop Leda posting another beautiful MOC... too bad your opponent defaulted. By the way, where did you get that cloudy sky backdrop? |

Hi Leda, because Mocpages was running so slow couple of months I've got an inbox of 500 new creations! And every day there are about 10 new ones! I'm working on it, vieuwing them all but I don't have time at the moment to read strips and story's that go with them;-) You do an amazing job on the storyline and the moody pictures, in future I'm really gonna read them again! |

I honestly thought you were going to go a different direction with the "Love Birds", but the ending certainly works. A solid build and good take on a classic film. Well done. |

Cheers to all for your kind comments regarding the earthquake! What an awesome community we have here on mocpages. That there were no deaths is a down and out miracle. However its so disheartening how my beautiful city now looks like the set of a b-grade post apoc flick. Chch is renowned for its beautiful historic buildings, buildings which I walk past everyday and just take for granted they will always be there... Must admit I'm feeling a bit low. |

Is it me, or do those pics look like you were riding some concrete waves when you took them? LMAO Hey glad to see that you survived a 7.4. Lesser men couldn't hack it. I'm from Cali, and have seen my fair share as well. Now about the build.....first of all a very creepy movie. And one I don't think people fully understand until they watch it. Second, I kinda feel like this was a weak build for you. Yeah, I know....I said it. Not everyone will be honest with ya. But I've seen you pull off so much more with so much less that this one leaves something to be desired. Hopefully the judges think I'm just a drunken fool and get ya through to the next round. In the meantime, cheers mate! Have another pint, and be thankful you weren't hurt in the quake! |

I love how the birds steal the car and drive away together. So romantic. What? This was supposed to be a horror film? My bad. Also, just thought I'd let you know that Chainsaws & Tuxedos III is up.
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/223532 Hope your Lego collection wasn't damaged by the quake. (What about you? :P I'm glad to hear you're safe.) |
