Concept of this contest appealed to me, so took on the challenge to sculpt a sphinx, just winging it. Also drew inspiration from "300" in particular Xerxes' ride.

I feel Bricksmith ( mac LDRAW ) is the right tool to make models using a wide array of parts, i'm mainly a basic brick man - I lack specialized parts - so gonna use this again in the future to preview complex models.

My entry won the pharaoh subcontest :-) so i'm expecting a series two collectible pharaoh minifig in my mailbox. (only LDRAW winner in 16 subcontests, the other winners actually built their entry with real lego bricks).

This is funny and cool at the same time! Hey Dirk? Are you thinking on making some more Mario sculptures? If not, then try some Starfox instead! NO ONE has even attempeted those. You'll be the first. Krystal from Starfox Adventures would be THE one to do. Lots of blue and light blue. Oh, and you wanna try to do her life sized? She is 5' 8".
