Campbell's Soup Crab

This is a crab coming out of an old Campbell's Soup can. I made this for the Tanana Valley Fair 2010 LEGO Contest. Originally this was going to be a lighthouse, but I couldn't get the tapering to work right, so I turned it into a giant soup can. This model won a blue ribbon for the Creatures/Aliens category.
About this creation














The crab uses a few different SNOT techniques.











Here is a photo of just the can itself. It's rounded by way of the 1x3 plus 1x1 rounds technique. The words are stickers printed out on the computer.

This MOC is great fun: clever & original. The crab is a nice MOC on its own but the setting in the can is excellent!
