Midi-scale AT-ST v.2

About this creation
Yeah, it's been a while, but I finally got to uploading the pics of version 2 of my AT-ST. The main redo was the legs; I bulked them out and added (my fav) the armor over the 'hip' joints. I also made minor changes to the cabin, such as making the windows a little smaller.

I will say that things are changing around here for me. I'm not going into a Dark Age, mind you- I've begun sorting my LEGO collection which is approaching an estimated 15,000 pieces. For one thing, I've scrapped the whole sales pitch thing, which, although it was funny, I think it impeded my ability to describe my MOCs as a builder would. Ironically, I'm going to say a lot less, though, and let you focus on the eye candy.

The legs have been extensively greebled as well.

I'm really proud of the fact that it's the same size as before. For midi/mini/micro, there's nothing better than finding out you've added detail without making it bigger.

C&C welcome, thanks for looking!

Pfft, quit the Bricks or not, you're not getting away without a review from me :3 Riddle me this, Doc, how did you get an ignition gear? I have a few, but from what I've seen Lego stopped making them altogether. But anyway, using the 'sabre handles on the back of the legs looks incredible, but it would help if they were connected to something.. The leg joints look spectacular, but I frowned when I saw you used a 2x2 round tile instead of your usual clever gear usage or something along those lines. The hips/body area is rather disappointing as well, it looks rather out of place compared to that amazingly well-shaped head. The windows! My, those look good! the feet look great, but I know you can do better than those legs. D: Sorry to be negative, and although this is an amazing improvement as compared to v1, you have a knack for somehow making things better every version. Let's see what v4 will look like >:D Keep up the good work! Go get yourself a cookie.

The same place everyone else gets their ignition gears. From older sets. That joint was one of my compromises. Normally, I avoid clicky hinges at all costs in walker legs, but this time I needed the stability, and the only way to hide it was with a 2x2 round tile.
