Vhar Imperium heavy fighter
About this creation

The Vhar Imperium are a reptilian race from the Achird system, also known as Eta Cassiopeiae. While not well known for the quality of their fighters, the Shadow Hunter heavy fighter stands out due to its firepower and durability.


Sporting two relativistic mass drivers under each wing and two light laser cannons at the tip of each wing, the Shadow Hunter is more than capable of dealing death. Hidden from view under each wing is a pair of torpedo launchers adding capital ships to its list of targets.


While the Vhar rarely deploy fighters in main line combat, the Shadow Hunter excels in behind-the-lines action where supply escorts often do not have enough firepower to deal with them effectively.


The Shadow Hunter's shortcoming is its relative lack of speed and maneuverability which makes it somewhat vulnerable. However, many an interceptor pilot has been dismayed to see a Shadow Hunter successfully shrug off repeated hits and continue to deliver its payload of torpedoes to a target.
