5867 Truck
a puller truck made from parts of creator 5867 set. i took my previously made truck alternate and put on on a challenge of getting some detail done better, mainly getting a better design for the body.
About this creation
now i ve managed to get the wheels under sitting into body not popping out as in the previous model. also the body has pretty much the same proportion, it actually took a redesign of the whole chassis structure, ordered the bricks in different way and that made it possible for this car to be an 8 wider.

the front has also got a more classic radiator design. and there s also a little neat detail work with tan number plates on front and rear. also integrating orange direction lamps on the sides

the side silhouette is left mainly the same. the doors still have an uprising side. only the backside of body has been put together with different bricks because the 2x1 bricks are now put in making the arches over front wheel.

the rear part is simple and rough. only practical stuff located there, a simple bumper with number plate keeper, braking lamps, some chassis detail and a crotchet.

and some more pictures.

This truck looks like a heavy-duty/full size pick up truck in the form of a semi! Pretty cool looking truck!

Quoting Nathanael Kuipers Now that's how you build a good looking alternate! Very nice details all around and the body lines are finished this time. I'm happy to see you took my input seriously and I hope you can agree that this model is better in every way...
yes, as a builder I'm still in a phase where it's better to learn from other than trying to think i know it all. and if those are constructive suggestions which lead to better mocing, they're more than welcome. from my latest 4939 alternates i learned how good the wheels look if they are inside the body and not aggressively popping out(previously i though it's kind a street racing sporty style and looks cool :D but it doesn't ) i brought that knowledge to this car. in the first model altering wheelfenders seemed impossible, all the brick where gone, and i then thought that trying something would lead to a differently looking car. but the stretching of width and smarter use of some bricks allowed to solve this rebus.
