Sorry for dodgy/blurry photos, my lighting is bad enough as it is, let alone trying to photograph dark coloured MOCs. :P
About this creation

I said that I wanted to build a werewolf quite a while ago, but gave up from sheer lack of effort. After seeing a MOC by Gringat in which he used "lupine" legs, it inspired me to start trying to build one again. Here is the result, and I must say I'm rather happy with how it worked out.

I was very stuck with the head, and probably spent more time trying to build a decent looking head than I did any other part of the MOC! I don't think I did too badly, but the head looks quite timid, not ravenous like I would of ideally wanted. Always room for improvement though! :)

Side view of the head. The "toes" of the piraka foot are supposed to be the ears, and I put the piece on top of the head so that the eyes would look like they were facing forward, like a wolf.

The body. I went through a couple of designs, and decided that I wanted it to look slim, but muscly and to get thinner at the waist. I thought the silver might look out of place, but it looked good, almost like it had a grey chest.

Back view. Kinda messy in my opinion.

Ah, the legs. This was the starting point of the whole MOC, and I feel that I accomplished the "lupine" look while keeping it stable enough to support the MOC.

The arms, not much to see here. The upper arms are built much like the upper legs, only with the addition of Stronius' spaulders.
And why not leave a comment? They are much appreciated...

I love the design, very original. Where did you get the part for the top of the head?
I think I got if from the Hero Factory's Meltdown set, although they are in a lot of the Hero Factory villains. :) |

Yay! Inspired-ness! :D I'm really happy with how this one turned out too :P The head is quite characteristic, and this MOC shows (quite well) how using an inika torso doesn't mean the MOC should look bad.
Yeah, as long as you use it inventively and don't just snap the waist piece onto the torso, that torso can be used very effectively for all sorts of bodies. :D |
