LL 924 MKII
An upsized LL 924... Why? Cos Classic Space rocks!
About this creation

By just widening the cabin by two spaces, it is amazing what you can do with classic space. The question was how to make the windscreen look good, and well, I think I have discovered the answer? This allows the wonderful array of side by side mini-figs which really makes for so much more atmosphere, while keeping the original lines of the all time awesome cs series...

How did I miss this one? Wow. I like the expanded look. The details are nice on the inside and the outside. Looks like I need to build another class ship!

Love the cockpit and the cargo area. Picked up a bunch of exploriens/spyrius sets on craigslist this weekend, and want to use the parts for something similar. Love your creations and will definitely use them for some inspiration.

Well played, you have mixed two of my absolute favourites, the LL924 and the LL928, pimped it in a beautiful fashion and... There's a tear in my eye right now. Thank you!

All can I say is if it was a real set, it would be a big seller ! Really love what you've done with the windscreen, and also the little vehicle. Great tribute to THE legendary set !

aaah, boy,i used to dream about having the big spaceships, only got a small base with a vehicle, and a small ship! one of my friends had one though so i got the chance to look at it closely, and at that time play with it! you know,if i had one,i d like to make one that opens underneath, and let out a med size 6-8 wheeled vehicle, like the thunderbirds! whenever i think about a ship, this idea returns in my mind! good work parr!

I like It! Good lines, good color scheme, very nice details all around, and especially in the interior. The only thing bothering me is that the ship doesn't have a proper landing gear IMHO. But great MOC overall!

Man, this takes me back to when I was about 10. I used to travel to Germany in the summer and would spend my pocket money on the small Classic Space sets. I wish I had gotten some of the larger sets too. Thanks for the nostalgic journey.~H

Quoting Yuri Fassio Oh! So this was yours! Frankly, I find the new layout quite confusing. It doesn't show the builder's name...
Oh my, I never noticed, but now that you mention it, it does seem different on that front page.

Quoting David Calvet This is a great variation on the LL924: it is true that having two minifigs side by side improves it a lot. And you managed the windscreen very nicely. Are you sure the yellow astronaut is not a Tanya Robert's relative ? And I love the small vehicle you made with it: the wheels are awesome !
hehe, you never now. Though I imagine classic space would be set about 7000 years prior to GAIA, so it would be avery long long long lost ancestor indeed... The vehicle's cute...

Quoting Eric and Lawson B Parrington, why doen't the female have a helmet? Are you saying she wouldn't look good with helmet hair? Or are you just trying to kill her off? ;) Great large MOC. It has some great lines and detail. Regards, Eric.
Reed heads are just too darn beauitiful to cover up in helmets, lol. I know, it looks odd, I noticed after shooting the set, and thought, Oh well... Cheers for the laugh...

Classic space: In my opinion one of the most fascinating lego series that ever existed. Many earlier lego series contained awesome transparent bricks (Insectoids <3), and sometimes I think I was born too late.

Classic space is alive and well with you and once again you found a way to improve on the original design! Parrington, I was wondering where did you get your minifigs from? As far as I know, they have never been sold here in the U.S. Honestly though I think they look better than the plain figs with the symbol on the chest.
