About this creation
Two days before our heroes arrived at the Tower of Harold, Prince Adam goes through the team to make sure all are ready for the task they are about to undertake…
Adam: “Joel, are you ready for such high adventure?”
Joel: “Is that a short joke? Don’t make jump up and uppercut you in the royal jewels!”
Adam: “No, it was… umm… never mind.”

Adam: “Legolad, are all the preparations made?”
Legolad: “A fell voice heard in a dream once spoke of an insurmountable force rising towards the sunset and hence…”
Adam: “So I’ll take that as a yes then. Perfect.”

Adam: “Just coming to see how you guys are doing…”
Sindy: “So let me get this straight? You’re going to shiver me timbers if I give up me booty and prepare to be boarded?”
Sue the Pirate: “Argh lass, that be what I’m sayin.”
Sindy: “Well then prepare to drop anchor sailor!”
Adam: “I’ll just move on then…”

Adam: “Carl, are you sure your internet degree in ninjitsu qualifies you for this?”
Carl: “Who are you talking to? I am a shadow, and imperceptible enigma, a wisp of cloud… Ninja. You can’t see me.”
Adam: “Ok Cena, just don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Adam: “And we’re off! Wait… who had the bug spray?”

Gate Guard Kelso: “Those guys are so toast.”

And with that, our heroes set of on the quest of the Tower of Harold. What zany adventures will they encounter on their journey? You decide…

Fourth Wall Commentary (with bonus photos!): I had a lot of fun with this build. I recently picked up a bungload (which yes, is metric) of 1x2 bley brick and decided to build something simple.

Well, what could be simpler than a wall right? Of course I had to take it one step further and decide to curve that wall. Ok, not hard when it’s only 1 stud thick… time to take it up yet another level. Let’s make this thing 4 studs thick with a walkway on top for soldiers!

Then it was simply a matter of adding the trees, bushes and other fun stuff that brought the whole thing to bricky life. Hope you all enjoyed this post and I’d like to extend a “thank you” to my friends who gave me ideas on how to improve this from the WIP photos I sent out. You guys were right, looks much better now. Thank you.

Till next time true believers!
~Chris.

Didn't notice the curved wall, 'til you said, but it looks spiffing when you do notice, it. I can just get my head around Gate Guard Kelso, not too much of a stretch of imagination, for me. |

Quoting Lee Jones
The rock is gone, the trees have changed, and the grass is a little more random. The wall looks great without the 1x1 rounds - and I am still fearful that you are going off on some comic tangent ;-) Lee.
Actually, I may have one more post in this series in me but after that, it's probably done... Besides, I've got a totally different comic series in mind... Dr. Jones. ~ Chris.

Wow this wall turned out great. Yes I see what your doing and I like it! Great job once again. Oh and I told Mark this but I got the Mexican from the Series 2 figs and I've got a couple MOCs that only a hand full of people will think funny. The others will probablly think its racist...they won't be wrong. "Get down Jorge!"-George |

Great build! I especially like how you made the hole in the wall. Also, does anyone know where to buy bulk grey 2/4 bricks? It would help alot. |

The curvature of the wall makes the build. You should probably watch out for that gate guard Kelso, I don't think he can be trusted. Laters. |

Hel yeh, time to roll for wandering monsters I'd say. I just love Legolad as a replacement for Legolas, one letter off, gebius! Or could be a typo like the one I just did, hehe. The trees are great, the parrapets simple but very effective. I reckon next, they should walk into a glade of temptress dryads who attempt to seduce our heroes into the trees with them... |

One word: WOW. I find it is easier to build a castle-theme than it is to build a modern/future, because the architecture is a bit simpler in a castle-theme. This, however, disproves the idea of simplicity in a magnificent way. The curved wall is great! I must try my hand at that at some point. |

I'm not sure what's stranger: you building castle, or you putting time into making something look nice! Yuri's right, you receive a lot of smack on any given day, and really don't get enough credit for taking it like a man. Great job on the castle theme so far and good luck on any future forays into it. |

I think this MOC is elegant in its simplicity with just enough detail to kep it fascinating. As for the story, if this a prequel I would personally love to see how this one ends simply for the fun of it. Imagining what twisted demises await leaves me drooling for more, or maybe that's my meds again. I can't always tell anymore! |

Man, I don't care much for prequels... I mean, we all know how they end up already! Joking aside (kinda) this is wonderful. The only thing that doesn't work much for me is the pirate, it feels a bit "forced in". I mean, the Ninja is also out of plce, but he can be a visitor from afar, yet the pirate... the very term implies he could not be a part of such a quest. And everything is so cool and detailed that it's perfect for this scene: the abundance of detail would have been too distracting for an action sequence. Bravo. |
