This model, like other models of mine, is not based on a particularity real life weapon. I personally think it looks like a an early 19th century field gun. Comments are welcome.

Good job! I too did a military MOC, WWII D-Day, years back (on my Brickshelf). It wasn't accurate, but it was fun....
