Halo 3: ODST M6C/SOCOM Magnum V2
Life Size, non-firing replica of the M6C/SOCOM Magnum from Halo 3: ODST. Also known as the silenced magnum, automag, pistol, or simply "gun."
About this creation
Reference images, info, and such

A few changes went into this MOC from Version 1, some suggested by viewers on MOCpages, Flickr, and Bungie.net forums; and some from personal ideas. Changes include:
  • Longer grip and magazine
  • The "vent" things on the slide in the back are recessed, rather than being stripes
  • The rear sight is green, not yellow
  • There's a slope instead of a sharp edge on the top of the silencer
  • The slide and trigger both slide more smoothly.
  • Plus a few small detail changes.

The only part left untouched is the flashlight/red dot on the bottom of the silencer.

Overall Length (MOC): 26 cm/10.25 in./32.4 studs
Overall Length (in game, assuming Halopedia did its research right): 26.7 cm/10.5 in.
It's pretty close to life size.

NOTE: I'm aware that the grip is taped.

It looks nice, but it also requires tape. I find that very disappointing.

That is one wicked pistol. Love the sights and the detachable clip. The tape on the grip looks really ghetto.

I say you invest in the massive project of building a Spartan Laser. (I know that's not the real technical name.) It would be one of those massive projects that takes a month. Think about it. Anyway, build was awesome! 5/5! ~Stay green my friends
