Great MOC! The "Squidpunk" is hilarious.

Well, I read your warning, and throwing caution to the wind, dared to look on. It would have scarred any normal human being for life, but hanging around these AFOLs has given me a super-human resilience to terrifying subjects of all kinds...so this just tickled my fancy.

I heard about your decision to leave the games to avoid tensions or whatnot. Is there any way anybody can convince you to reconsider? If I was ever to see any weeny bit of a bright side in this situation, it was the chance to see you compete.

This is fantastic. Great idea and a well executed build. It's a shame forgetting a link is an auto DQ. I can see a point penalty, in which this incredible build could still survive, but I guess rules are rules.

I am OVERWHELMINGLY upset about this turn of events. Josh, you were one of my favorites to go to the finals. There is however one (and ONLY one) good thing that has come of this. Now NO ONE can say the games are rigged or that we play favorites. When one of my absolut FAVORITE builders and a man that I consider a friend is DQ'd, no one can now question our integrity. Josh, I am so sorry man. I know you're a cool enough guy to understand and I also know that you're cool enough to stick around and play in the side events to show how good of a sport you really are. Tough gig with the DQ

That's some really sweet building mate. Love the fish tank with the mermaid and the tentacles reaching out the door! So many great details and obviously a lot of hard work went into this MOC. Love the steampunk style colour-scheme too.

On the plus side, there's a the chance of having you in the side-events, and I'm loving that thought.

This was a sweet build, I really did not want to toss down that DQ, but rules and all that.

We simply lost that detail in all the awesomeness (good thing we have 3 judges for this). Hit the showers.
