Once upon a time, the Incredibly Awesome General George was walking through the vast field of nothingness, when he came across two giant bugs!
He had never seen bugs like them before and figured that they where a new species. So, he grabbed a couple of chains from...somewhere... and tied them up.
The general dragged his catch back to his base and threw them in a huge cage.
He got his crew to guard and take care of the beasts. The crew included- Delivery Dave.
Nobody knows what exactly he delivers but he does it every day...
Foreman Fred. He is in charge of all the workers when the general is not around. He's a bit of an A-hole (he also likes them...)
Worker Wendy. She is always being followed around by Foreman Fred. He usually makes her do seemingly pointless jobs that require bending over. She loves her job though...
Repairman Randy. He's always mad about something. Maybe he's being paid less than minimum wage.
Ladder Lenny. Every day he is up on that ladder fixing the high tech but completely useless gadgets.
And this is Bob... the janitor.As you can see, he loves to dance. Unfortunately for everyone around him, he is extremely clumsy and a bit stupid. He is responsible for accidentally killing twelve people last month when he decided that the propane canister rack would look much better next to the incinerator... What an idiot!
General: "Bob, i want you to clean up this cage while i go get the scientists. They are supposed to examine these beasts. Please don't mess this up!"
Bob: "you got it boss!"
He started sweeping up all the dust on the floor and polish the bars on the cage.
He noticed that the lock was getting rusty inside.
He started looking around for something he could use to clean it out. Over by the control console, he found a key-like object.
He climbed up his broom and shoved the object into the hole. It fit perfectly... It's like it was made for it! Bes fit EVER!
The lock popped open as he scraped the rust out and he fell off his broom.
The huge bugs rammed the cage door and it swung open. They seen all the people around and charged at them. Oddly enough, they didn't touch Bob. I guess they thought he wasn't worth the effort.
All Bob could say as he started sweeping the body parts into neat piles is " Oops! Silly me!"
Okay, so this isn't exactly my best work... obviously. I've been really busy with work lately. So, i didn't have much time to build and scheme. Hope you guys like it at least a little bit.
These guys are pretty much the centerpiece of this moc so i thought i'd add some more pics of them.
This one is kind of like a Hercules beetle. It's a "horny" little bugger...
And this one is just another attempt to use that stupid Vader helmet! This turned out much better than that bionicle i posted around Halloween last year.
And finally, both together.

Hahahahaha! Bes fit ever! That deserves from me a very very rare LOL! Awesome build, I LOVED Ladder Lenny. Great details like the skeleton hanging out the cage, the bent over lady with the antenna pointed just so... and that final shot of the decapitated head being swept up is priceless. |

Well, I'm with Christian, the helmet didn't really work for me.(too iconic) I certainly admire your use of it and what you stuck inside it was great. Now, the OTHER bug was just WAY too cool. Totally reminded me of the Transformer insects, whatever they were called. Total build was fantastic and I can't wait to see what you bring to round 2.~H |
