This is a small scale sculpture of the Giant Budda in the Lantau Island of HK

About this creation

In 2007, I planned to make a budda sculpture in a small scale. Due to my immature technique, only a early version of a budda head was made. Since there's a topic "Culture and Art" was raised by the LEGO HK ,for the Comic Festival 2010. The Making of the Giant Budda sculpture was again and finally done!

Oh my it's amazing design. I love how you can create so much, with just a simple block. I would love some feedback on the sculpture I created. It's no budda tho ! Well done !

Sweet design of the biggest Buddha in the world. Regrettably, when I went to Nong Ping 360', it was really foggy, so we couldn't see him at all. The cable-car ride was worth the ticket price thoughn even without a viewq of Big Buddha. Great work.

David, you should have a great time on the ride. In fact, I've never got a ride on the 360, although I live in HK.
