I had a plastic VT roadster of this sitting around in my Lego area for quite some time...and I needed something to build.
About this creation
My version of the 1997-8ish Lamboghini Diablo...even more proof that you should always pick a SPECIFIC model of car before you build it... At first I just built a Lego car of my plastic model with a roof, but most of the VT's came later and had open lights, so mine more likely matched the SV, but I don't have SV stickers, so eventually I found pics of older VT's with matching appearances to my car. All after a half hour of digging through Lamborghini pics for a matching car. But anyway....
The Side
The back, my favorite part
Aerial view, similarly to Sven Bode's Diablo(you've probably seen it) I also used the construction type of an alternating width... but I though a 2 stud difference was a bit much. That left me with one option...
An odd width front of 15 studs wide
And a back of 16 studs wide, resulting in a complicated mosh of jumper plates and hinges in a 15-16 wide.
Everything Open
Doors open
The interior... I've done enough ranting above, so I'll spare you the long boring list...
The engine, a V-12 with a transmission. Getting more detailed, but still no battery, or radiator, or gas tank...
