A domination contest: scorpion tank
my entry for flares Animal domination contest. i really didn't have any good ideas for the contest, so i threw something together. i know i won't win, but maybe i can get an honorable mention if i'm lucky.
About this creation
when i first heard of the contest, my first thought was what animal to use. i almost paniced when all i had was my lego tauntaun and a horse i could borrow from my sister. things looked bleak until i remembered i had a scorpion from one of my indy sets. so without further ado, heres the scorpion tank.

the scorpion tank was used durin the conquest of the southern hemisphere. these hover tanks were quite effective in the australian outback and the sahara desert. the reason was for the pilot itself. while other animals would fall over and die (with the exception of a few) the scorpions would hold fast.

sorry for the blury pic.but this is a size comparison.

automatic machine gun mounted on one side........

....with a flamethrower mounted on the other.

and for up close and personal fighting the stinger comes down.

back end showing the forward propulsion system. the hover control system is seperate from this. this is how the tank is able to move fast.

the side view of the cockpit, the only vunerability to the driver. sorry again for the bad pic. this is the best shot i could get.

-i hope to get an honorable mention maybe.

-now i'll post the freeco speeder.

-my halo stuff is in for a major redo soon!

updates: i just realized this is my 50th moc!! yay!

score total:10

Quoting Axel Don't put yourself down mate, this is actually a pretty good entry! Suggestions would be to make it studless and ladida like that. But this is still great. BTW, Australia isn't like every one thinks it is. I live in Aus, and some places you go are actually greener than England and such.
really? i had no idea. thanks for telling me.

I'm gonna score this (2), too. It's a neat build, but I feel it would've worked better with legs.

Nice work, I like how the tank looks very similar to the creature. ;D Nice job and nice write-up. Two (2) points from me. Good luck with the other judges!

This isn't bad, i'd try making it more one color, and adding more detail, but it looks lovely. I hate scorpians though, my hunt gave me one, it was kind of weird for a gift~Nick
