HP Lovecrafts' Cthulhu Mythos in LEGO!
About this creation
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons, even death may die."
The Villainous Lord Sinister and his evil henchmen have kidnapped Professor Brixton-Smyth to find the lost gold. But in their haste they have awoken the sleeping monsters of the Cthulego Mythos!
Meanwhile Johnny Thunder rushes to help from his massive Zeppelin 'The Avontuur'
Lord Sinister and his men have two ways to escape, by land or by sea!
Can they escape the zombies?
What awaits them at the boat?
Who is the mysterious stranger with two swords?
Can the monsters be returned to slumber?
Is the Bi-plane friend or foe?
Who is Dr. Who?
And can Johnny thunder save the day?
Of course he can! He's the hero!!!

On the other side of the cliff Lord Sinister has parked his vehicles, but Johnny, Pippin and the rest have just arrived in their massive zepellin.

A mysterious bi-plane flies over just as Lord Sinister and his gang are chased out of the cave!

Waves crash on the shore as terrible creatures attack!

Oh no! Zombies who where past victims of the monsters... run!

But at least they have the treasure, if only they can get to the beach.

Atlach-Natcha the giant spider is also awakened, if one monster doesn't get you the other will.

But even the boat they left on the beach is in trouble.

Too late... poor guy, this was his last job, he was retiring to take care of his sick mother... oh well.

The monster must be evil - its mouth is made of Jar-Jar heads.

Ergk! Help! Monster in the cave! (and a clikit on the beach.)

Mysteriously a blue police box seem to have materialised on the cliff top... Who is that man? Precisely.

Lord Sinisters vehicles and a driver. But he seem to have annoyed the guy with two swords!

Hippies. Beatnics. Wasters. Getting what they deserve the unwashed airheads!

Here comes Johnny! Oh dear, lost one of his party to a lake monster though!

The sea-side. Deep-one alert! Someone call the Navy!

Coming to getcha! Watch out for the Mythos Monsters! They can be anywhere.

Wow, perhaps Darth Vader wasn't burned and the Death Star explosion launched him pretty far far away and took him many years to wind up here. Any chance you might build a Dagoon moc? |

Very good diorama, I like every little part of it- especially the fact that you've managed to combine Lovercraft, zombies, Doctor Who, Indiana Jones (in his non-licensed from, Johny Thunder) and even Star Wars (the zombies' torso and the ingenious use of Jar Jar's head) into one diorama. |

Oh my... That´s one of the best layouts/dioramas ever. There´s so much amazing detail in everything, so much action going on... The monsters are extremely creepy looking, the giant one is just terrifying... makes me think of Stephen King´s "It"... I would love to see a diorama with the topic of It from you! Anyways, your work is amazing! Keep on building and posting here, your MOCs are very much appreciated! Best regards, Steffen |

Cool stuff! Not many creations are made with such a dedication, besides that's beautiful. Only thing that bothered me, was the background. Boring, white backgrond really doesn't fit with your creation. Nice stuff anyway. |

Wow, VERY cool!!! Great job, sir. I love just about everything about it! Just a few: the jar-jar face, the guy with the tentacle through him, the zeppelin, and how the city is in ruins, like Osgiliath. Oh, and the answer is NO, Johnny thunder will NOT save the day. That is what the Doctor is for! ;) LOVE Dr. Who! |
