M1 Garand rifle
Here is my newest creation! the M1 Garand rifle! Credit goes to The Dawg for his unique rifle body design! Anyways, enjoy the pictures! and please leave a comment!
About this creation
WARNING! THE TAPE ON TOP OF THE GUN WAS USED TO SMOOTH THE TOP OUT, NOT TO KEEP IT STABLE. THE TAPE GOING FROM THE STOCK TO THE MAIN BODY WAS TO MAKE IT PLAYABLE. IT WORKS WITHOUT TAPE, BUT IT MAKES IT LOT MORE FRAGILE!!! PEOPLE TROLLING ME FOR THE TAPE/ BAD COMMENTS ABOUT THE TAPE WILL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY AS THEY ARE PUT UP!

The fact that is has tape on it bothers me a little, but that doens't take away that I think it's awesome! Color and shape are just PERFECT, I just think it should be a little longer, and a little "bulkier", as I think you should've added on more layer of bricks on top of it. But still, it stays gorgeous!

Quoting Jake Mackay Looking great, as always Jason. Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, I've been really busy going places and working (ew.). Anyways, did you try to make it with brown first or did you not have enough. Brown and/or tan looks pretty sexy on WWII guns.
I've got around 30 brown pieces and 50 tan pieces. this uses more than a 1000 pieces O_o about the pics: if you press the pics, they have a little higher quality than the others + the blitz ruins the pics pretty much.

And you took those photos at night didn't you? Night photos tend to have bad quality. That's why my first HK416 looked horrible in pics. Take the gun outside and just use a white sheet as a backdrop, it makes all the difference. ;)

It looks great, although I don't know much about WWII I definetely recognized it for being from that era. I honestly didn't notice the tape, I'd say a technic frame might help make it more stable, I heard it works on SHIPs and other large MOCs. Regardless of that it's great I particulary like the barrel.

Quoting Christoffer Strid That's one heck of a Garand! Congratz, I suggest, if you wanna keep on making WWII suff, then how about a Mauser Karbinier (Kar) 98? or maybe a MP40 or an M1 or even a Springfield 1903. Possibilities are endless! Anywho, any suggestions for a pistol from the WWII era, not Luger, nor 1911. plz answer :D
Kar98 it is! but im off to Spain for 2 weeks, so i wont build for 2 weeks. Glad you liked this, i spent some time on it ;)
