Time travel and history alteration go hand in hand. Question is, what has Mr. Bones done now? Brace yourself for something quite bizarre:
About this creation
The American Civil war has been drastically altered. No longer is about the right of the south to have slaves, or the rights of those slaves to be free to live there own right, but now it about the rights of the North to remain free from the undead.
How could such a perversion of history come about, you are no doubt asking. Well for the answer, we look back at the time traveling adventures of one Mr. Bones.
The undead horde came to be, when Mr. Bones was visiting the ancient Aztec cities. The natives followed his every move to see what the "demon" wanted. And while Mr. Bones was performing one of his re-animation upkeep routines, the natives learned the secret to immortality. Almost. By incorrectly performing the routine they did not become immortal at the cost of their flesh, rather they became semi-immortal beings that crave flesh, with only one other purpose: spread.
The highly advanced technology of the north came to pass, after Mr. Bones had been following the one and only Jesse James. You see the "pale faced man" Bones, had been keeping a record of many different things he deemed interesting from his various travels back(and forward) in time. While following Jesse James, Mr. Bones seemed to "misplace" his journal, and figured it probably wouldn't do any harm to leave the unlearned yokels. However, it eventually worked its way to the governments top scientists, and its secrets were exploited. The North developed technology far beyond the grasps of their imagination.
Now if you actually read all that, maybe these pictures will make some sense:
i have been doing something like this except well not nearly as good but i love the union mech gunning down confeds its pretty sweet. And i dont like advertising my self but could you mabey look at my historical stuff if you do thanks if you dont i understand
I'm not going to lie; I really enjoy your creation. Wolfenstein meets HG Wells meets Gettysburg. The mech is pretty interesting in its own right...I love the way you integrated minifig parts, pistols, and kepis into its construction. Very nice! I'd still prefer that the Union soldier be wearing his kepi...I think it's too iconic to give up. I know you were going for something to match the mech. Perhaps this could work with it: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6158
Yeah, I'm afraid I'll be posting less and less as time goes on. I'm going to technical school Aug 26th, so I'll be busy all week, and most likely I'll be working weekends. Don't hold your breath for new creations from me, but when I get the building urge(like a few nights ago and this was born) you'll see the odd(or very odd) creation from me. Plus I'll be Starcraft 2 very soon!
