As I posted on Eurobricks:
Amazing MOC. I design is flawless- the round 1x1s are great, and the bottom of the tower is simply brilliant. The landscaping is perfect, and the tiled water is good.
If I could rate it from 1 to 10, I would give it a 12. |

Nicely done. Simple, yet VERY effective. As for whether Chris stole this idea from you, let's just say that since he's a cop, I'd be searching my house for bugs and micro-cams!~H |

Ya know, Castle towers in Lego are like a staple for me; the way a person needs food and water. Now, I haven't had enough tower lately. So, I'm not only going to say "well done," but also..."Thanks, I needed that!" |

Lots of great details, Dan! Love the signpost! (Speaking of signposts Johnny and I were watching MP&theHolyGrail today...LOL!) The cobblestones, the placement of the horse and the Fig ascending the steps...excellent! Nice details on the tower itself as well(you must exhibit this one at Octobrickfest!). Sweet work, my Friend- |

Quoting Chris Phipson
So, I've had this castle bug for a couple weeks now and have been tossing bricks at a few ideas. Let me state for the record that when I post my white castle (with black roof) surrounded by water that I'm working on that I didn't steal the idea from you HAHAHA! (seriously, wait till you see it, we could put em side by side and people would think they're the same layout) This is a really nice build Dan! And really nice presentation to boot! ~ Chris.
Haha, nice Chris. Hey, is there any chance you'll be with the Xandegars and I at Octobrickfest? I saw your name in one of the emails he sent out, then we could see how close they really are. |

That's the plan! Almost anything I build over the next few months will be on my table at Octobrickfest. Have you heard from Cliff? |

This is an example of the limit where a castle can be called great while still very simple. You put the details only where needed and it worked very well. Nice work. -Dylan |

I really think you got the seaside castle down. That beach is really nice, and the crossed axes are a great detail. |
