Entry 3: W.I.P Seterra
In the past weeks I worked mainly on the front part of the ship as I was not so happy with the first version.
About this creation

Why the hell did I decide to work with dark gray tiles? Difficult to find enough and more expensive......, but gives the ship a special touch

As one of my targets for the ship is to have as less visible gaps as possible and to make it studless as far as possible, the front section was quite challeging, might be difficult to see on the pics

The front section contains 2 parks, left and right side of the ship, in front of the main hangar. Inspiration for this part came from the movie "Silent running".

A park should have some trees .....

To give a impression of the total size of the ship (more than 3 m) and the shape I combined 2 photos. I is still not possible to put the front part together with the middle and the engine part. Currently I have not enough space to do so, furthermore the moc needs to be shipped and in modules it's a bit easier

A heavy bomber, one of the fighters the Seterra will carry to be prepared for any attack

And another fighter to protect the ship

Quoting Mark Kelso Looking fantastic, Thomas! I can't wait to see more. As one in the midst of his own monstrocity of a SHIP, I can relate to the cost and time involved. But just seeing this under construction is a blast, and I have no doubt it will be worth it in the end. And besides...all that old grey...that's YOURS now! *turns geen with envy*
Thanks for the comments. Sometimes I think, why did I decide to go for dark grey, it's more difficult to find. But if I work on the SHIP I know it was worth to do so.

Quoting Steven McLeod Dude this thing gets more and more incredible with every update. What are the overall dimensions up to at this point?
As I need to transport the SHIP, I work currently on 4 modules which will be assembled later. The rear part is actually approx 1,9 m long and 1,2 m wide, the front part is 2 m long and 1 m wide, the 2 side modules approx 1,3 m x 25 cm. The whole lendth of the assembled SHIP will be: length approx 3,8 m, width approx 1,6 m, heidth not sure, minimum 50 cm

Epic! I cant wait to see the final ship - in RL (I hope). On first sight it looks kind of overloaded withall those gimmicks on its shape but I think thats a must considering the scale. What a patience!!!!!

OK, so, I was wondering if you could post a photo from above that captures the whole thing, like you did in the profile shot. 3 meters? Zoinks!

This ship is humongous! The amount of bricks and effort you've put in this must be so unimaginably big. The park inside the ship is a very nice touch, also reminds me of the movie Sunshine. Good luck with this giant!
