I know, it's totally unoriginal to make a LEGO hardsuit, but this one's better. That's because it's orange.
About this creation

The possibilities for hardsuits and mechs... they're almost always more posable than LEGOŽ minifigures, so they can be made to do all sorts of things, such as wear jetpacks, carry M-16s...

...walk pets...

...and tend the garden. This particular one has jointed wrists, shoulders, head, legs, and waist, and the hands can grab just about anything a minifigure can.
It's pretty simply built, and chances are you can replicate it by studying the next four pictues.

In conclusion, a picture from the marketing department, which calls the HW Mk1 the "Coolest, Greenest, Most Fame- and Wealth-Inducing Hardsuit to Ever Help You Attract Babes!"

It should be mentioned that the rest of us think the marketing department threw together some stuff that most people like and then spent the rest of the day at the bar. In fact, some of us are inclined to think they went to the bar first, and then made the ad. At least the flames are cool.
Thanks for looking, and, as always:

Thanks!

I already am in too many groups, and don't spend as much time on the pages as a few months ago. I would not keep up with the conversations. These days I pretty much only come on when I get an EMAIL note about activity. My recent little 2 day burst of scouting for good MOCs (like yours) was pretty unusual. Also, I scouted the people who had already joined your group, and know that my views are already represented by others there.
This "too many groups" syndrome is become common, I've noticed. Well, thanks for letting me know, I really appreciate the feedback. |

Well, I think you understand marketing well enough, so we can move on. I'm concerned that: the position of the jets will make the suit spin out of control rather than rise; and, unless the kitty has its claws trimmed, she may damage the suit after she is finished putting the dog in its place. Cute build, and let me know how it turns out with the cat.
It's interesting you should mention out-of-control-flight with the jatpack, as the suit was actually laying on its back, as if crashed, in that particular photo... creative angling and cropping provided the flight for me. The dog managed to stay out of trouble, as the hardsuit was up to the task of restraining even the most ferocious pets. I know what you mean about cat claws... they're definitely well-made weapons.

This is great, but I don't understand how you got the legs on there.
The secret is minifig hands, which are shoved into the minifig legs and then clipped on to the clips that form the lower torso.

I myself rather replace the body of a minifig for a robot body (mostly), this hardsuit is a bit bulky for me, but hey, it still PWNs!
Thanks. Yes, bulkiness is always an issue when trying to make hardsuits as small and flexible as possible. |

First and best handsuit i sen
Hey Zeker, thanks for commenting, but I think that the first and best might be associated... If you want to see some more hardsuits, check out some of Angryraccoon's stuff. I got some of the inspiration for this one from him. |
