IAF A-1 'Mungusi'
My first military creation for the rearming of my United Federation of Constituents (India) for the 21st Century World group.
About this creation
A close air support and counter-insurgency aircraft.

This aircraft is based heavily on the Rockwell Int. Bronco.

Being new to the re-armament game, India issued orders for a cheap and effective CAS aircraft to stem the tide that was building all around them and buy precious time for them to amass a sufficient armored core.

I used two cylinder pieces and the Racers theme tires for the engine exhaust vents.

With a standard weapons load of two 20mm machine guns and 900 kg of bombs, rockets, and auxiliary machine guns, the Mungusi (Mongoose) is a capable attack aircraft. Two internal tanks in the wings give the Mungusi a great deal of area longevity for extended missions.

I tried fully retractable tricycle gear, but the nose gear has to magically vanish for it to be complete.

Good choice with the propellers. They're slow, but they're also cheap, reliable, and easy to manufacture. Which a starting country like you wants. I am the leader of Brendonia, or people call me the "man with teh shipz". Greetings.

Very nice. I especially like the landing gear. Do the wheels actually roll? It is better to have both halves as well.

Yes, they do. I used a couple technics to get that to work.

That's what I was thinking (after doing research into Brazil and other SA country's militaries) thanks for backing me up. Thank you for the greeting, most honorable "man with all teh shipz" you are most kind!
