This is a brickfilm I created several months ago. I will let the film speak for itself.
In all fairness, I should state that the story is not mine. This was a part of an audition process for a small movie company in North Carolina. What we did was: set up the shots, do all the animation, cut the shots, do the editing, and match the score to the story. In essence, we created all the film, but not the story.

Those shots at the beginning were fantastic! True cinimatography shots there. The music set the mood great! The little girl's expressions may be simple, but they work wonders. I'm hoping to see a bunch more from you!
No worries! I'm currently in production on an hour-long stop-motion adventure that in quality will leave this one in the dust. You can keep up with that at http://monitogostudios.com/. Thanks for the great feedback!

I truely enjoyed this moc, it was very moving, and the emotion and characters were portrayed amazingly. After the first few moments, I didn't care that they were lego, because the were brought to life in a very realistic manner. This deserves many more views.
I'm going to echo everyone else, this brickfilm was stunning. Not only have you managed to tell a story about a cat in a tree, you've gone and created a moving story that reflects life. Just like life, I didn't expect the man in black to be the hero, but chivalry and the willingness to help others lives on. Thanks for sharing this!
Wow! I don´t know if I can ever write a worthy comment for this masterpiece, but I simply have to. It is like a look into the mirror, reflecting our so often cold and unhelpful world. Fortunaltelly there are sometimes angels where we don´t expect some. As I clicked on play, I didn´t expect something as touching like that. And the fact that not a single word is spoken makes it even more powerful. Hats off, this is awesome!
Absolutely fantastic. Some nice variation in camera angles, depth of field, wipes and fades...all very seamless and fitting for the concept. But what I love...let me say again...LOVE!!!!!...about this, is that it manages to transcend being a trite little Lego flick about a cat stuck in a tree. Somehow you made me stop and think for a moment about one of humanities greatest qualities; our capacity for compassion for others. It's a rare thing when a MOCpages creation is as powerful as this. "Well done" doesn't even begin to come close. This was brilliant!
One of the best animations I've seen. Even though there is no voicing, the bricks speak for themselves. Great work with lighting and backgrounds as well. You definitely should make more brickfilms.
