This is the Ferrari Testarossa. The Ferrari text logo in the main picture is made of Legos as well, and is featured in a small display for the car shown in several pictures below. This model took a lot more creativity than I expected, but I like the way it turned out.
About this creation
To start off with, some shots of the exterior all around:
A close-up of the side intakes on the doors:
The engine cover grille:
The engine cover opened up:
The Engine:
The hood opened up: After seeing a reference picture of a modified Testarossa with a front opening hood, I built it the wrong way, and had to reformat the hinges to open from the back like it should
Inside the "trunk" in front:
Doors open:
The spacious interior: I had some trouble finding all my tan tiles, but I found enough. Also, the seats are pretty much blatantly stolen from the F430 set with a few modifications, but with the tan pieces I had to work with, there wasn't really another way to build seats.
Everything open:
The Ferrari mosaic:
This is a small showcase I made for the car which includes the Ferrari mosaic:
Several overhead views:
Here is the debut of my newest technic character. Dressed in a racing suit, he is much better suited to driving Ferraris than my previous technic character, some kind of robot...
the headlight pop up:

Hi Ryan, i'd very like your creation. How those you made the lights pop up? I was building my Ferraru F355, and i got the problem with the front Lights. Could you tell me how to made it? My email is farhandzakys@yahoo.com.
Thanks! |

Maybe the roof is a tad to high but nevertheless I can tell you with a clear conscience that this "Testarossa" is the best one around in that scale (including our 14-wides, for sure). Chapeau! I take off my hat to you, Jens |

Excellent. If the windscreen was a tad shorter it would be perfect. As it is, still a beautifully crafted model. |

Brilliant model, really one of the best, the amount of details what make this car perfect, though, I would suggest to make the roof a bit lower, it's a bit too high IMO. Still a 5 stars creation, great work, my friend. |
