A more specific design of the ESC SuperCarrier. This craft can carry 60 strikecraft and 5 armed boarding shuttles. This is another old build of mine, using LDD. This puppy cost an amazing $37. You can see why I never built it.
About this creation

By far the largest ship in the Fleet, the Raven Night is one of 15 SuperCarriers employed by the ESC. Often seen with two escort Destroyers and various other smaller vessels to complete the group.


The Raven Night has no weapons mounted, aside from anti-missile systems and standard phase shields. Instead, she must rely on her escorts and her compliment of strikecraft, which usually consists of 48 fighters and 12 bombers, which are organized into squadrons of 6 each.


I tried to get a view into the hanger bay, but sadly I could not get the angle. Fighters are launched via side mounted linear accelerators for mass rapid launches. A massive atmosphere armor projector system cordons off each individual fighter pit, retaining atmosphere and heat like a energy wall, and the vast majority of the hangar remains directly open to space.
