I really like this simple cargo ship design. The cargo containers are simple, but actually realistic. Great work!

Quoting Jordan Hofer Sweet ship! I especially like the colored cargo containers and the almost vertebral structure of the freighter itself. Classic sci-fi designs!
Thank you! I myself was very upset with the cargo containers, wanted them to be other colors and more detailed, but my collection simply wouldn't allow. And I never thought of the ship as vertebral--I like that description, thanks!

Quoting David P. Awesome design! Reminds me of the cargo freighters in the game Freelancer. I loved to attack them and steal their cargo :-)
Unfamiliar with the game, so looked up a pic, nice design! Thanks!

Quoting El Barto ! You've gotta get building again, Chief! Okay, I've finally got a Viper for Sy Spenser, call sign Digger. But it won't be just any Viper... New episode up!
I know, I know! Been SO busy of late! But, I thank you, one for the thing itself, two for telling me here...so let me go read it now....

Quoting El Barto ! Came back to admire this one. You know, after I made my last comment, I ended up building that exact scene from BSG: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/221512
Thanks, man! I saw that one...indeed, as epic as usual. :-)

Quoting adlai plastic Nice job! With these around everything would come from which-ever planet had the cheapest laborers, instead of China!-Adlai
Haha, you are right, it probably would! (Gotta find us some planets and space travel technology, first though!)

Quoting Crimso Giger Interesting concept, nicely done, cool to see a civilian ship it changes :-)
Thanks! I thought it'd be a nice touch to have a ship like this; it was pseudo-inspired by the cargo-crate ship in the Tylium battle episode of Battlestar Galactica.

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Sorry that Ive missed this! Very cool skeleton design with that Hammerhead bridge section. Reading some of the comments, I have to say that the containers are pretty fine. Imo, less colourful containers would have looked kinda boring. Have you ever seen a train with containers passing by? The are also coloured differently, in the companies colours. So, this is an awesome MOC! Cheers!
Hey, thanks, man. :-) Your point about the train is perfect, exactly what I was trying to accomplish. :-D

Quoting Jim Wright NNNIIICCEEE!!! One thing though...You should add about two more engines. You know, just for looks.
Thanks! I didn't think about that...first of all, I only had one of those cone pieces. :-D I wanted to do a single engine...perhaps three might have looked cool, but hey, another day, eh?

Quoting A minute ago in the store across the road Wow, this was very good. If you could perfect the cargo hold, you could become very popular. Your a great builder too!
Thank you very much!

Quoting El Barto ! Yes, that was a cool set up when they distracted the Cylons and all the vipers were inside the cargo pods. But I think it was done already. Anyway, nice work on this ship, I don't see any reason for the cargo not to be brightly colored.
Well, thanks. A differing opinion is always nice. ;-)

Quoting Peter www.tirpitz.net I agree to Aidan. Nice ship but you really need better containers. They should not be that colorful and perhaps future containers do have some structures on the hull?
Yes, I agree actually. See my reply to Aidan.

Quoting Aidan Bryant I like the freighter, but the simple containers are very distracting. I know they aren't the main build, but they make up a very big portion of it. Right now they are just big lego blocks, but if you even just managed to make a SNOT bottom and smooth out the tops, I think it would really improve the moc as a whole.
Yes, I understand what you mean. The crates were my biggest issue as well--not the colors I wanted, or anything. I wanted Maersk blue, orange, dark red, and red-brown. Red-brown is all I had that I had enough of, and then I didn't have the detailed parts that I wanted to use to make it look less, well, bland. In the end, that part just didn't work out. Perhaps another time, when I have more funds to fix my lack of said colors. :-)

Quoting El Barto ! Mmm, chocolate, pistachio, vanilla?, strawberry! All the best flavors. In fact, I'm going to make myself a cone right now! Nice cargo ship!
Thank you! It was pseudo-inspired by the cargo ship in BSG (the one where they hid the Vipers during the...oh, what was it, the Tylium battle in Season 1?).
