Glimpses into the private lives of Arkham's most famous residents including the Joker, Two-Face, the Riddler, and other foes of the Batman.
About this creation
The nine inmates of the Maximum Security wing of Arkham Asylum are the most dangerous of the criminally insane. They include Pamela Lillian Isley (aka Poison Ivy), Edward Nigma (aka the Riddler), Victor Fries (aka Mr. Freeze), Jonathan Crane (aka Scarecrow), Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face), Matt Hagen (aka Clayface), Maxie Zeus (who isn't cool enough for an alias apparently), Waylon Jones (aka Killer Croc), and the Joker.
These criminals have cells tailored to their "special needs" as determined by Jeremiah Arkham and the asylum's many qualified doctors and psychiatrists.

Supposedly Matt Hagen, though there is some doubt about his identity for obvious reasons, this incarnation of Clayface is provided with a cell that features not only plexiglas on his interior windows, but his exterior window as well. He occupies his entire cell, spending his time shapeshifting and smeared all over the walls. A glass jar for him to sleep in is kindly provided, though it's not clear if he has ever used it.

|
Having escaped Arkham more than any other inmate, the Joker's padded cell is now equipped with wall restraints and is monitored 24/7. And he is still able to escape.

Waylon Jones's cell, complete with extra bars and weights (keeping him fit for his eventual wrestling comeback). Jeremiah Arkham thought the wall art would be good for his fragile crocodilian psyche.
|

|
Maxie Zeus's cell. He sleeps in his throne and "zaps" people who walk by his cell with his lightning rod weapon. No one has had the heart to tell him it is made of plastic.
|

|
Victor Fries's cell temperature is kept as close to zero degrees as possible. No one is clear whether this is Celsius or Fahrenheit, or absolute zero though. He spends his days examining his dying wife Nora, both in worship and desperate to find a cure for her.

No one is sure how Pamela Isley got her chemical shelf into her cell, but no one is willing to go in there to take it out. It gets more and more crowded in there with each passing day.

Stately, if rather obvious, cell for Edward Nigma, the Riddler.

Jonathan Crane's cell. Arkham has provided him with a chalkboard and various scientific trinkets after the Scarecrow complained that Poison Ivy had things with which to experiment and he had nothing. Even though he was given innocuous materials, he has still managed to discover a way to turn it into a mental fear poison.

Originally provided a nice white cell, Harvey Dent ripped up one half and threw black paint over the walls. "I guess we should have expected that," said Jeremiah Arkham, "but where did he get the paint?"

Overhead view of Mister Freeze's cell, with a better shot of Nora Fries and his temperature-regulated bed behind him. His window to the outside world has frozen over from the cold.

Overhead shot of the Riddler's cell. Here we can see his question-mark themed bed comforter (to go with his question-mark jammies). Also while awake he can ponder his favorite riddle by Lewis Carroll, as depicted on the opposite side.
