From my Spherus Magna storyline.
Originally created for TML's Gender-Bender contest on YouTube. ¬.¬ This version of Tanggri is now slightly non-canon in build. She shouldn't have the Kohrak-Kal shields. Also, the storyline has advanced by several years. This is the young Tanggri. Stuff gets darker as the whole Weave War saga begins.

Storywise:
Tanggri was created in a combined effort from Gringat, Tyn and Mata-Nui with the Mask of Life. In effect Gringat and Tyn are her parents, although she came into existence with the appearance of a fully-fledged toa.
Her creation was a great breakthrough in recolonising Spherus Magna, and many other matoran pairs were visited by Mata-Nui to do the same. Eventually Mata-Nui found the way to rewire every Matoran simultaneously to be able to create new generations. The Spherus Magna population grew and prospered. The way this worked is similar to how matoran can form kaita with others of different elements. This was the same, but instead of three combining and then uncombining, two combined and then three uncombined - the third being the child. Literally part of both parents. Matoran could also do this with both glatorian and agori, but not more than a handful of times in their lives.
Tanggri became a high-ranking member of a new toa organisation called the "Knights of Spherus Magna" - a job not dissimilar to Helryx's with the OoMN. Not all Knights were Toa, but most Toa became Knights in order to defend Spherus Magna. The Vortixx, Skakdi and Skrall were still enemies of the "good" races.
Tanggri shared a measure of the elemental powers of both of her parents, which she could combine easily to create very powerful static, cyclones and storms.
She also became a close friend of the remnants of a mercenary group called the "Brothers in Arms", who had fought alongside the toa against Teridax. Its members were Galinhad, Cydroc, Cyrias and Hcaet Drawde. The rest of them had been killed.
She appointed all of them, and used toa stones created by D-7 to let Galinhad and Hcaet become toa. She and Galinhad became close.
Her parents, along with the other Elemental Lords, took the Island of Korrothis back into space to search for a star system known as Tempesta Celestis that was mentioned in ancient Great Being archives. A hundred years later the Temesta Celestis colony was set up, but after a few centuries communications with the colony was lost.
A new circle of Elemental Lords arose in the city of Bazryghan in the North of Spherus Magna. Tanggri worked closely with them, espeially with Iruni, the Fourth Airlord.

Tanggri uses my current female torso design, but credit must go to MoonWerewolfAir for the headpiece design as well.
Tanggri is an anagram of Gringat. I had to create a female version of Gringat's name for the contest, and this seemed the best way to do it [^^]

awesome job with this one. i saw the video a while ago and started to think you might not add her to mocpages. say, did you take apart gringat to make this or just found some other pieces? great job again, also, can you check out my new mocs and special.
