MOCIA 2, pt 1
It's back, better than ever! Just as chaotic as last time, but IN SPACE. Because everything's better IN SPACE.
About this creation
Captain Hurry McDidn'tdothechecklist here has just regained consciousness in a pool of his own blood.

The time? What part of "just regained consciousness" don't you understand?
You guys are deciding how this guy meets his doom finds out where he is and what he needs to do.

I'm not giving you any out of character knowledge!

The place? Well, what harm could it do. In an airlock. Or similar thing. Aboard a ship. Possibly belonging to McLazy.

Equally, he may be a stowaway who injured himself. Who knows?

Well, I do. But I'm not telling.

So, how this works: I provide a list of possible options. Each of you comments, mentioning which option they want to vote for. In X number of days, I come back along, count the votes and decide how he gets closer to his messy and amusing death what he does.

In case you haven't noticed, I run things. I also don't think very much of your collective intelligence. For good reason, I might add.

By the name and subtext, you know there was a previous one of these.

Do you know how it ended?

Well, some guy's sigfig was trapped in a burning tank. He tried to explode his way out of the tank.
The options provided were to use a pinch of explosive, a handful, two handfuls, or all of it.

You lot picked option C-IV. ALL the explosive. I mean, isn't that a pretty obvious Bad Idea(TM)? Idiots.

At least one of all the options I provide for each page will lead, directly or in the long run, to the player controlled character's death. Usually in an amusing and obvious in retrospect manner. Is it too much to ask that you guys use a bit of common sense?

Anyway: on the good Captain's person there is a space suit, and a really bad case of body odour. And I mean really bad. Try wearing an airtight suit for an unknown length of time and see how rosy you smell!

To the camera's left and right are sealed doors. On the left, two steady red lights. On the right, a red and a green. One of them almost definitely exits onto hard vacuum. That's a 50/50 chance of instant, painful karma right there.

There is a rack of space suits (they're both there, which means you didn't get yours from this room. Food for thought.), a door of some sort with goodness knows what on the other side, and a terminal. Also: in the foreground, a little rack with two stick thingies, and a pair of cupboards of some sort.

Do you...

Try to open:
A1: the door on the left?
A2: the door on the right?

B: Take a look at the suits?

C: Look over your suit?

D: See if that whatsit next to the terminal comes open?

E: Speaking of the terminal, fiddle with it?

F: Examine the poles?

G: Rub your foot on your bloodstain to see how recent it is?

H: Look at the cabinet thingimajig?

4 days, starting from the 6th of July NZ time.
Chop chop!

(not literally, of course)

Quoting John Dawn Try to open: A1: the door on the left? - never a good idea. A2: the door on the right? - ditto. B: Take a look at the suits? - not too much. C: Look over your suit? - not much harm either. D: See if that whatsit next to the terminal comes open? - opening something attached to a bulkhead, yup always a good idea. (sarcasm) E: Speaking of the terminal, fiddle with it? - last one had pr0n on it so... no. F: Examine the poles? - weapons, important part off the ship? life support? nope not a good idea. G: Rub your foot on your bloodstain to see how recent it is? - might slip later. so no. H: Look at the cabinet thingimajig? - could contain explosives. I'll go with H.
There is such a thing as being TOO paranoid, you know. Besides, the last terminal, the guy clicked on a banner ad. And ah, a hint? This particular ship is built along the star trek lines. So, anything that could electrocute, boil, freeze or explode on you is likely behind a panel. A panel that looks exactly like the surrounding wall. Of course, any and all weapons lockers are also probably hidden behind such panels so boarders can't find them. So. Hmm.

Quoting Angus J. I'd go C, just to check for how he got his wound…. DRAT! no CIV option this time!
I should have mentioned that. He fell and/or slipped and hit his head. Or maybe was hit from behind. He's not a doctor type. Even if he was, there's not much you can tell with a head rub anyway.

Quoting Sean Flynn Ok, whatever you do, dont go through the door with the 2 RED LIGHTS! if anything go through the one with the 1 RED AND 1 GREEN l LIGHT. cuz green means go.... right?
Actually, it's supposed to be you who votes what to do, not me. Secondly, a green light isn't always a good thing. Yes, it COULD mean there's breathable air on the other side... equally, it could also be a radiation warning light, green meaning "don't go this way, you'll get cancer". Besides, it's the future. Who knows what the designers intended? Well, I do, but I'm not telling.

Quoting Awesome-o-saurus The Not-So-Great H. Let's see if we can find a helmet for the spacesuit. And for the record, I didn't vote to use all the explosive! At least, I don't think I did...
You did. They were the only reasonable option at that point. You did, however, vote for a sane amount, and join the chorus saying DON'T PICK C-IV! IT'S A TRAP!

Hmm... Probably not a good idea to open either door without any indication of which leads to death. Neither would it be smart to fiddle with an unknown terminal. Probably best to go with D. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?
